Music, being a very public medium, is a very personal thing. The feelings and emotions a song evokes and our opinion of what a song means to each and everyone of us, is so very personal. That being said, I love this song and this band. They follow their own musical path which is pretty eclectic and they don't write what I would consider "Commercial" music. They write for themselves and if the public likes it, well all the better but not a requirement in their eyes. They are a very unique group. More power to 'em.

I would not be surprised if they asked the crowd to chill out to keep distractions down and get the feel the band may have wanted. I was at a small club performance for DCFC where they asked us to do nothing distracting, no arm waving, etc. to call attention to yourself.
