Good morning, Mike. Thank you for your efforts. Band sounds good as always although, “ The Welshman,” is a certaintly “interesting,” march and new to me. Sounded great marching into the castle and that, “money shot.” I love being able to hear the W/O’s give the, “change arms,” order over the music.

Happy sunday afternoon Mike! I already saw this Changing Guards on AFV channel, but each video looks and sounds different. Yesterday Wales was on parade, but I noticed the trombonist is Irish, he has a blue plume on his bearskin, isn't it? One of my favorite march is Colchester Castle. Thank you very much, Mike, for sharing the video and for your efforts to realizing it (4 hours trip, 8 trains!!!).

Good morning Charlotte! Thanks for the comments. "The Welshman" is rather a new march to me although I've heard bits of it before on other videos by other people. It's a pity I couldn't record more of it, but I have to walk fast up a side-street to get back in front of the band.

@@AlbaAlba-fg2io Hello Alba and happy Sunday! The musician with the blue plume at about time 02:39 will indeed be from the Irish Guards band, but is playing a Tuba (a very large brass instrument) not a Trombone. Also at about 02:39 a musician with a red plume can be seen - that musician will be from the Coldstream Guards band and is playing a Cornet (a small brass instrument). I'm glad you enjoyed the video!
