One of my best friends was at this show at MSG! Do yourself a favor and watch the whole show! They rotate many musicians in and out including Horns, Saxes, Singers. They trade instruments. The whole thing is shot in one camera take from onstage and the sound quality is great! Incredible show!

I knew you'd love it! Vulfpeck have got their discography chock full of gems and bangers. Next one you should check out is Dean Town (an homage to Teen Town by Weather Report) written by keyboardist Woody Goss with bass player Joe Dart taking the lead. If you do a live version (like the one from MSG), you might just hear something you haven't heard before... Enjoy!

Great reaction once again! Seeing Joe Dart getting called "that bass player" is kind of wholesome for me. One of the best and tightest bassists currently living. You should really dig him a little, won't regret it. Yeah and Vulfpeck (you said it right) is just as worth digging.... Like anything. 1612, wait for the moment etc.

Bro, I had the same reaction when he said "that bass player". He was on the cover of bass player magazine and regarded as the best bass player in his generation. He was born in 91 for context lol

Listen to more Vulfpeck, Joe Dart is a living god on bass. You should also check out Cory's solo work, he is probably the hardest working musician in the game riight now and putting out consiistent quality, we're talking multiple full albums per year amount of content, the man is a workhorse, not to mention he has part of Prince's old horn section and bassist.

So Cory Wong and Joe Dart also play with Snarky Puppy guitarist Mark Lettieri (who plays baritone guitar a lot in that lineup) along with drummer and absolute legend Nate Smith in a supergroup called the Fearless Flyers, who are one of the tightest and hottest funk bands in the world right now. Their music is hot and every player is a legend on top of his game.

i think if someone actually said "they're repeating the same thing, this is simple" to me, i would burst out laughing. Joe Dart is an absolute monster on bass. he's on some Jaco level stuff. check out Dean Town live. Vulfpeck, Dirty Loops, and Polyphia are the Prog-Pop Trinity, and Cory Wong has worked with all three, and also has a weekly hour long music show with his band and guest musicians (he's had both Victor Wooten and Bela Fleck on). i don't know where he finds the time to do all this, but i appreciate his contributions to Music.

No selling my soul. I had a lot of viewers say I needed headphones to hear thr music better so I asked thr company who I’ve purchased countless headphones from if they would send me a free set of headphones. Simple analogy with games: a company may try to stretch the edges of possibilities and develop the most awesome game ever seen... or use everything we mastered to build a really fun game in pixel art. extended concept double analogy: when you are building a house and are very confortable with steps and tools to do so, then you naturally transit focus to precision and flow applying it to Vulfpeck: the greatness of this goup is its flow, crafting really groovy music. What differs from conceptual examples (or maybe not different at all) is the fact that finding musicians to naturally click on groove is something very, very hard to accomplish. We can't think of something different in the creation process other than imagine it being printed in the first run, which is definitely hard to imagine it happening when developing a game trying to stretch the edges of possibilities, where we tend to imagine a lot of experimentation. Edit - plottwist: or maybe mastered tools and steps opens ground to experimentation? hmm
