Excellent build out. I am not familiar with the series and have never built s Sci Fi model, however I think that may change. The kit looked extremely well made, you are not constrained to building a specific aircraft like a Spitfire or Lancaster, just let your creativity go wild. Plus I always catch something new watching your videos. Next trip to the hobby shop I am going to go straight to Sci Fi section and have a look. Thanks

That is awesome, I hope that you find yourself a really cool kit :) I totally agree with you on that one, I try to build some sci-fi in between my historical subjects as it allows me some freedom, and I'm then ready to get back into the historical stuff.

That silver under the clear yellow looks amazing! I hope to try that someday but there aren't too many models with such large colored clear pieces.

I totally agree, not a lot of opportunities, but another method I've used a few times also is to paint a base layer of silver, and then paint on a Tamiya Clear over top of that.

Advice: Get yourself a Metal ruler or at least a wood ruler with a metal edge. Far less likely to damage with sharp blades.
