Thank you, really appreciated this kind of tutorial. Didn’t about Bandcamp. Quick unrelated question, what software do you use for creating your artwork?

I use photoshop for the artwork it has some generative ai in it that I use to come up with some images and then I blend things together to make it look the way I want.

No one buys non-commercial music, It's spotify which is used by many but you have no chance for people to listen to you if you are unknown. No one will play you, there is a truth that must be accepted and platforms that make money from people who are not artists must be discouraged. In Romania they hang you on the street to take pictures and make you a mannequin then they ask you for money to send you to further sessions. You know it's a childish joke but that's how the platforms for hooking singers with a subscription work, fee with a subscription, to make music, to sell... they will never sell.

Bandcamp have what they call Bandcamp Fridays. It's one Friday a month and all sales made that day, they waive the revenue share fee which means the artist gets 100% of the royalties. So far just, just on Bandcamp Fridays alone, $120,000,000 has been spent on music on Bandcamp. So I would say that there are people that are buying music that's not on Spotify. Also to note, Bandcamp is free. They aren't hooking anyone into paying them.
