I am helping my son start an arborist business with a Bandit 200XP chipper so that he can easily support himself while going to school. Thanks for the video.

thank you for sharing! I have a pretty similar 200 XP, trying to get the feed torque arm detached from the motor but stumped how to remove the cylindrical piece (coupler?) from it, I removed the bolt that, I think, is similar to the tapered pin that you removed. I call them shear bolts for the fact that it will shear instead of messing up the feed roller shaft.

Hi, i am replacing the clutch on my 007xp bandit chipper, we are unsure if you need to take the belt track off first or take it off with it still attached to the clutch

Sorry, I'm not quite sure what you are referring to, and I don't have the chipper at the house anymore. Thanks for watching!

How did you manage to get the pin out? I’m having a hell of a time getting this one out in one of my 150

Hammered it out. I actually had to measure the ends to make sure I was Hammering in the right direction. Had beating it out not worked I would have used some heat. Good luck with it. Thanks for watching!

How do you get the shaft out from the disk? Me and my husband went to change out the bearings and found out the shaft was bad. Any advice?
@tomhendricks3163 жыл бұрын
I didn't have to take the shaft out of the cutting disk. Is that what you need to do?
@rachelcarpenter35963 жыл бұрын
@@tomhendricks316 Yes we ended up have to cut off the bearing and we have tried hammering out the shaft. It won’t budge.

Darn it, I wish I could come help. I don't remember how that shaft looks at the disk. Have you tried heat? Penetrating oil?
@rachelcarpenter35963 жыл бұрын
@@tomhendricks316 we are trying penetrating oil on it and it’s not budging. We are looking into heat right now. I appreciate you responding

@@tomhendricks316 Hey just wanted to update and say if you ever try to take the shaft out skip the heat and oil and just lay the disk out on a pretty solid floor and hit the disk. The shaft will pop out. We learned something new and fast and figured id share it. Thanks for the video on the chipper! Following for more!

How did you get the pin out of the pump?
@tomhendricks3163 жыл бұрын
Hammered it out. Since they're tapered they will only come out one way so make sure you're hammering on the small end. Thanks for watching!

I have been hammering at this thing for an hour. Tried both directions and it won’t budge
@tomhendricks3163 жыл бұрын
Did you try heating the feed roller shaft as close to the coupler as you can? Maybe even heat the coupler and the taper then letting it cool? Make sure you're hitting the small end because it's only coming out one way! Darn it, I wish I was there to help you! I love the challenge

I finally gave up and just decided to work around it. Had to do the same repair you did to the plate around it. It’s good now. Thanks for the help though. Great videos of this. Very helpful
