The heat treatment on this damascus was very successful following the recipe for k720 and tempered to 200°C for 2hrs resulted in hardness between 60 and 65 on the Rockwell scale.
Handle is made of olive wood, horn and okume wood all fitted without glue thanks to the four alignment pins between the handle pieces and the single 3mm hardened stainless steel pin locking blade and handle tightly.
