Banette ex Is Evil & Is Your WORST Nightmare! Item Lock Returns, Counter Lost Box PTCGL

So badly want to make Banette ex work. Have been running it with Kirlia/Gardevoir ex+Mewtwo V-Union with a couple of extra bits to help deal with other decks. Found that Cleansing Gloves works REALLY well against lost box and can give you a damage edge over other Gardevoirs. Goes form 3 shotting Comfeys to 2 shots (1+QS Inteleon if running your list) for added pressure. Also, Gallade from Chilling Reign can decimate Miraidons. Am interested in Banette/Spidops, would love to see a list for that.

Toxicroack EX rn is pretty bad, there's only few good supporters like radiant sneasler, stunkan V or muk. Have to wait for the next expansion where there's a sableye for poison decks

Yeah....i tried this upon release, so of course I ran into 4 goodra decks in a row - Glad you got a better run! I think the biggest problem this has though, is the speed it goes. The deck needs at least two turns to set up, and as shown early on in game 1, if it fails, the deck is massively behind-they had a bibarel and greninja i play before you item locked

Inteleon vmax gives up 3 prizes and is weak to lightning, which is everywhere. It also needs a supply of water energy to use the ability. 3 strikes against right there.

@CJepp3 I guess? I mean, the gust gust game logic can also apply to Miraidon decks, and you don't see people harping on that. Also, what I'm attempting to say is that it seems slightly more consistent to not have to dig for a Rare Candy, Sobble, and Inteleon, but rather an Inteleon, and Inteleon Vmax (Which both are easy to do with Irida, yes, but having the only need with an item grab being an Inteleon Vmax instead of Rare Candy Inteleon seems more fluid with your item grab)

@@LittleDarkFury I can see that logic, I just think having the ability to punish backdoor setup even harder than Q.S. is valuable. Also, Banette only needs a single psychic energy to lock up and only *requires* one psychic specific energy to use Poltergeist. Along with access to Star Alchemy for a boosted consistency rate. Also, having a lock on the active is incredibly strong if you are gunning the bench, along with the ability to shut off Escape Rope so you can't get pseudo-gusted.

My homie and I cooked up a banette deck with bibarels for draw and a big spread of control type supporters like flanery, Sydney, miss fortune sisters. The mixture of control and item lock is pretty filthy. 🤢

Hey I have a version of banette without inteleon I would really like to share it with you I’ve been testing it at local card shops and it seems to do well against all meta decks and post rotation decks @LittleDarkFury
