I'm going to preface this by saying that Light Delight is my favorite song ever. If someone were to ask what my favorite song would be I wouldn't have to think about it for a single second. It will be Light Delight forever and always. With that in mind I'm 100% sure that I probably won't have enough space to write this comment on KZbin but I'm going to try ahhhhhh. I will say that from when I first found out that you were working on a cover of Light Delight I was really, really, really, really looking forward to hearing it. You 100% delivered with the emotions that the original song has. Before getting on with that though I want to talk about my story behind Light Delight & why it's so important to me. Literally going to be replaying this one for a while

AHHHHHHHHHHHH VERY LONG ALREADY AND I HAVEN'T GOTTEN INTO YOUR BITS YET. BUT THIS CONTEXT SHOWS EVEN MORE HOW IMPORTANT YOUR COVER IS TO ME AND YOU KNOW HOW MUCH I ALREADY ADORE IT!!!!!!! Getting into your description first I will say that I will always appreciate your covers and the amount of love put within them. I can tell just by watching that there was so much love put into this one and you used advanced techniques to your advantage in this to give that full experience. There definitely is a big difference from a piano cover compared to the original of this. Though despite that I feel that you conveyed the experience and meaning of this song super, super well on piano. You let the emotions flow and that's something that is definitely noticeable upon listening. You had your own personal interpretation to this song and it really brought life to your playing. It might not be in the same power as the original though that power and emotion is shown elsewhere with the way your fingers move and the strength in the chorus. The movement and that feeling of raw emotion that Kasumi has while singing in the chorus. I can feel that and that's what makes me love this cover so much. I definitely agree that even though the song itself isn't too complex it's a song that yearns to be heard and for emotions to be seen through. Kasumi's singing really shines through with this song and I really love your interpretation on the meaning so much!!!!!! It's a song that definitely is something that reminds you that you are not alone and that you can conquer these feelings of dejection and dissatisfaction. The bridge section is so beautiful and honestly love how it's implemented. The lyrics really shine true with the emotions that each members of the band have. Definitely glad with how you were able to arrange the final product. I appreciate that you had focus on not pushing yourself to make something unplayable, but finding the common ground where you could have something that was playable, complex, and enjoyable. The last one being the most important factor. You really pushed through and went with the full version of this and the amount of perseverance is what bandori is all about. Using the love of music to persevere and to accomplish things that you feel you won't ever be able to do, or you just want to give up now and dial it down because you feel you'll never be prepared. While keeping this in mind you push yourself further but not to the point of breaking. I don't doubt the level of complexity put within this arrangement and despite how hard it was to play you still managed to bring me to tears with the emotion that you were able to convey. LIKE. I will for sure be listening to this for a while and appreciate the little additions that you added and the way that the notes flow to one another. " But... I can finish and upload this piece with a smile on my face, knowing I've done my best, and I hope you'll enjoy it too!" Super glad you can feel this way and always hope the best for you going forward!!!!!!!

AHHHHHHHHH NOW WITH THAT IT IS FINALLY TIME TO COMMENT ON THE COVER ITSELF. AHHHH, MIGHT HAVE TO PUT THIS INTO TWO COMMENTS AHHHH. BUT LIKE I LOVE THIS SO MUCH. OKAY FIRST OFF YOU HAVE THE LITTLE KASUMI NESOBERI ONCE AGAIN IN THE VIDEO AND THAT'S SO CUTEEEEEE AHHHHHHHH, I literally just got my Kasumi nesoberi yesterday and I'm super happy ahhhh. BUT INTO THE COVER LIKE. Just from the start, I knew that I was going to have emotions. THAT PIANO INTRO REALLY GETS ME. AHHH IT'S SO BEAUTIFUL. IT'S SO PRETTY FROM YOUR PLAYING. THEN THE MELODY COMES AND AHHH I LOVE THE OCTAVES IN THE RIGHT HAND IT'S SO BEAUTIFUL. AHHHH AND THE LEFT HAND TOO PLAYING THESE BIG CHORDS THAT MAKE EVERYTHING SOUND COMPLETE WHILE ALSO COMPLEMENTING THE MELODY THAT'S PLAYING. I also love how the bassline is accentuated to give that power that the original has, it works so well. 0:19 THE LITTLE MELODY OF C# AND D# GIVES ME CHILLS AND ADDS SO MUCH TO THIS. There's so much to love in this. THEN IT GETS INTO THE VERSE AND I GET EXTRA CHILLS. YOU HAVE THE PIANO MELODY IN THE RIGHT HAND AND THE VOCALS IN THE LEFT HAND. GOSH THOSE HARMONIES ARE SO PRETTY. 0:42, THAT LITTLE LEFT HAND ARPEGGIO THAT PLAYS FOR THEN having the movement start to progress by having more emphasis on the lower notes. THEN ALSO THE HARMONIES PLAYING ALONG WITH THE VOCAL MELODY. GOSH I CANNOT. WOWWWW. Then the little bits where the vocal melody isn't being played the little bassline arpeggio is going on to show that there is no stopping and it is always moving and progressing. I love it sooooooo so mcuh.AHHHH THEN IT GOES INTO THE PRE-CHORUS LINE. AND I JUST ADORE IT LOTS. The way that your hands flow and the way that the notes come together is super satisfying. 1:01 ahhhhhh omg those harmonies are so pretty. These note jumps are so wonderful and I appreciate the soundscape that it brings. Dynamics are also wonderful as well!!!! AHHHH BUT THEN THE CHORUS COMES. THE MELODY THAT PLAYS THE "DAKARA." GOSH I LOVE THE LITTLE RUBATO AND HOW IT GIVES SO MUCH SUSPENSE AND TENSION. It definitely gives that feeling or second where it seems like things stop before all the emotions start to pour out.OKAY I LOVE THE FACT THAT IN THE DAKARA YOU KEEP THE C THAT WAS IN THE PREVIOUS PART IN THERE. THAT TENSION STILL CARRIES THROUGH UP UNTIL THE CHORUS and that conveys the journey of this song super well!!!!! There's that point where one is uncertain whether to show their true feelings or to keep them tucked inside. As also it perhaps conveys the distress that one has before all their emotions come pouring out. This sort of "I can't hold them in any longer." It's something that is truly relatable and I love these little harmonies that are added. It gives this cover something that only you would have done. Or perhaps more so that this cover is what you feel when you think of this song. Gosh it's sooooo, sooooo beautiful. THEN OF COURSE IT GOES INTO THE CHORUS. AND OHMYGOSH IT'S SOOOOO WONDERFUL AND LOTS OF EMOTIONS GOING ON. DEFINITELY MAKES ME WANT TO SING ALONG. It's so pretty and I love how you conveyed the rhythm and movement with how the left hand is always moving with that eight note pulse. Then just as soon as the chorus ends the post chorus melody comes in. GOSH IT'S SO PRETTY. AND I LOVE HOW IT HAS JUST A LITTLE MORE POWER AND THE EMPHASIS ON THE BASSLINE EVERY MEASURE IS SEEMINGLY MORE STRONGER, MORE ELEGANT. It's almost like letting it all out is the first step for moving a little forward after keeping it all tucked in after so long. In the first chorus of the song it has this idea of finally crying and finally letting it all out. Then knowing where to go from there. Gosh I love how in the 2nd verse there are the higher note harmonies going on. ALSO PLAYING THE MELODY IN THE LEFT HAND NOW OMG. This higher octave version of the verse really has that feeling of "aftermath." After crying and looking around you. You start to feel a little bit better and think that perhaps you can do this. Then the verse kicks in once again with the movement continuing in the left hand. This time with purpose and not aimlessness that makes you lost. It's a start to finding your path. I love how in here it's different from the first verse with how there's a natural progression. There's dynamics with how it kind of follows this up and down dynamic. It shows that journey and how you recognize that there are ups and downs, yet you keep moving forward. It seems more at ease and more beautiful. Gosh I love these subtle details. It's like after crying for the first time in forever you feel relieved and feel lighter than air. That's the feeling this second verse gives me. Gosh then the pre chorus bit AND IT STILL CARRIES WITH THAT SMOOTH, LEGATO AND HEAVENLY ATMOSPHERE ALMOST. I ADORE IT. 2:33, WOW WHAT WAS THAT LEFT HAND RUN. OMG THAT IS SO GORGEOUS

GOSH AND THEN WE GET INTO THE BRIDGE. LET ME JUST SAY THAT THIS PART MADE ME CRY WHEN IT GOT TO THE OTHER MEMBERS SINGING. I WASN'T EVEN EXPECTING THE TEARS TO COME AND THEY JUST DID. I DIDN'T EVEN REALIZE IT UNTIL AFTER THE FACT. I think that's definitely the first time that's happened where I just started to tearing up unexpectedly which shows that you conveyed the emotions of this song super well and got through your interpretation of this. BUT FIRST OFF BEFORE THE SINGING PART THERE'S THIS REALLY COOL MELODY THAT PLAYS. I LOVE IT SO MUCH AND HOW IT SWITCHES UP THE CHORDS JUST A LITTLE. It works so well. Ahhhhh, the harmonies 3:30 and how everything seems to freeze for a second as the bassline is emitted for just a second. It's like moment of preparing to open yourself up to others and to finally be honest. THEN I LOVE HOW TO RETURN BACK TO THE POWER YOU HAVE THIS DESCENDING MELODY THAT GOES BACK INTO THE BASSLINE AND I LOVE THE EFFECT THAT IT GIVES. It flows really well and gives that sense of unity. THEN THERE'S THAT PIANO BIT THAT'S JUST BEFORE THE SINGING AND I LOVE HOW THAT'S DONE AHHHHHHHHHH. AHHHHH BUT THEN THE LYRICS COME AND I CAN'T HELP BUT TEAR UP. SO MUCH CHILLS. I THINK YOU REALLY SET THIS AS THE CLIMAX REALLY WELL WITH HOW POWERFUL IT IS IN DYNAMIC AND THE RICHNESS IN SOUND. You always have it moving with the eighth notes in the left hand (ALSO USING REFERENCE AS THE BPM BEING 180). I think unity in here is definitely evident too and shows how the members of band has these ambitions and struggles too from which they can help each other reach them. 3:57, GOSH THAT NOTE OF THE BASSLINE IS SO SATISFYING AND ONCE AGAIN LOVE HOW IT SOLIDIFIES HOW EACH MEMBER OF THE BAND GIVES ONE ANOTHER STRENGTH. HONESTLY DEFINITELY STARTED CRYING HERE. OHMYGOSHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. AHHHHHHHHHHH. THEN LIKE THE FINAL CHORUS COMES. THERE'S THE LITTLE PAUSE AND SUSPENSE THAT BUILDS AND I LOVE HOW THAT'S HELD. OHMYOSHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH ALSO LOVE THE "DAKARA" IN HERE WITH THE HARMONIES. IT DOESN'T HAVE THE TENSION WITH THE ADDED C THAT IT PREVIOUSLY HAD IT WORKS WELL TO SHOW THE feelings and release after letting all those emotions out. THE CHORUS THEN HITS WITH THOSE BIG BASSLINE HITS TO EMULATE THE LACK OF A SOLID RHYTHM IN THE ORIGINAL. IT'S ONE OF THOSE THINGS THAT I LOVE AND IT TRANSLATES REALLY WELL IN PIANO. Then the chorus picks back up with the movement in the left hand. Honestly an emotional rollercoaster wouldn't be enough to describe the journey that you created with this cover. THERE'S SO MUCH SMILES AND TEARS IN THIS SECTION WHILE LISTENING AND IT WORKS SO WELL. AHHHHHHHHHH, LOTS OF LOVEEEEEEEE. THEN THERE'S THE "YOU'RE NOT ALONE IN THIS WORLD," AND THAT GIVES SO MUCH CHILLS TO GO BACK INTO THE POST-CHORUS MELODY WITH THE "YOU'RE NOT ALONE" IN BETWEEN. AND THEN THERE COMES THE OUTRO WHICH IS ONE OF MY FAVORITE PARTS IN THIS COVER. The little details added really make this work and I love how it adds your own personal touch. The outro has CHORDS PLAYING INSTEAD OF JUST THE BASSLINE BEING PLAYED. AND THAT GAVE ME SO MUCH CHILLS TO HEAR AND IT WORKS SO WELL. IT GIVES THAT CONCLUSION. MOST IMPORTANTLY IT GIVES THAT WARMTH. that resolve. It's the same feelings as from the start but this time it's those feelings added on knowing that you are not alone. You aren't the only one with these feelings and you aren't the only one to tell these feelings too. It's so precious and I love how something such as chords can add such a significant impact and meaning to this already emotion-packed song. 5:16 THAT CHORD. WOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW. THAT GETS ME. REALLY, REALLY LOTS OF EMOTIONS. IT'S SO PRETTY. AND THEN THE FINAL CHORD AT 5:20.I love how carefully chosen those were and how they carry on ringing when the final note of the melody is played. It seriously makes me feel all warm and cozy and that everything’s going to be alright.

@@AphixSky I didn't read through the entirety of your comments because I'm too tired for that, but you made me go read the lyrics while listening to the song and I definitely have to agree that it's quite an emotional song. I'm not ashamed to admit it made my eyes a bit wetter than they normally are.

I have almost no musical knowledge but that doesn't take anything away from the raw emotions that your cover of this song conveys. As I listen to it while reading the video description, I could feel the struggles of Poppin'Party, as well as those of the performer. Those painful, lonely sufferings in a place so dark that even a tiny speck of light would fill the empty heart with comfort and encouragement. Then at last we come to realize that sometimes, perhaps more often that we think, the fire that sustains us must come from within. It must come from believing in ourselves. Finally the tears run themselves dry and we let out a sigh of relief. I guess, the darkness doesn't seem so dark after all.

Your comment pretty sums up this song perfectly man. The fire that sustain us must come from within. It is once we're able to accept ourselves as who we are that we can fully accept and help fulfilling others as well. Best of luck to your endeavor, and thank you for the support! :D

Every now and then when I feel down I come back to this cover and just need a moment to take it all in by the end. You've managed to not just convey the emotions of the original song but add in your own extremely well. Without a doubt, Light Delight is my favorite song. It resonated with me ever since it was first previewed and I didn't hesitate to pick up the CD when I had the chance. This song never fails to bring me to tears while helping me pick myself up a bit. Aimi reaches the perfect balance of comforting and emotional while the solo lines from Rimi, Saechi, Ayasa and Hasshi are powerful and elevate Light Delight from a beautiful song to a touching masterpiece. I was a complete mess when I first heard the 5L performance of it. Popipa really is something special, huh. With all that said, you did this song justice. Thank you so much for doing this.

ADDITIONAL THINGS THAT I JUST THOUGHT OF BUT I LOVE HOW BEFORE THE FIRST TWO CHORUSES WITH THE "DAKARA," with having the C added when the chorus comes it resolves to the B that the chorus vocal melody plays and how that resolves is so beautiful. Since the vocal melody is playing the B it gives that note more emphasis and the tension before hand with the C works so well even more because of that! Also another thing that I forgot to point out was during the 2nd verse at 2:33 I REALLY LIKE HOW THE VOCAL MELODY'S rhythm is changed up JUST A LITTLE BIT. But it still is noticeable and in a good way. Really adds even more so on the idea that things will not be the same as before and even if it seems the same as before there are these little things and little steps of progress. Ahhhhhhh, I've commented too much on this BUT THERE'S SO MUCH NEW THINGS THAT I KEEP DISCOVERED WHEN RE-LISTENING TO THIS. Honestly that's the beauty in your covers and music in general. Definitely displays the amount of love put within this and how it all comes together

Spot on my friend! I intend to have a second verse to be a contrast to the first, I want the second verse to have more "freedom", more "gentleness" and emotional nuance that signifies the human growth's after each challenge. I'm glad you notice it man :D
