THIS IS AMAZING OH MY GOD YOU LEGEND. I really cannot express how absoutely beautiful this cover is. This is hands down the best ever bandori piano cover I have ever heard. Nothing even comes close to this. Thank you so much for doing this. I had trouble being motivated to continue playing piano prior to listening to this cover. After hearing it now, I feel so damn motivated. The thought that one day, if I work hard, I might be able to play this, fills me with so much determination to keep going. Thank you so much, please continue making amazing covers like this. I love Bandori and it is one of my favorite franchises, Mou Ichidou Luminous is definitely up there as one of my favorite Bandori songs and you completely nailed it.

Lol me replying to a year old video, but maybe if you're still looking for it I also can't find the video by searching it. It's still there tho Easiest way is to look from wisnu's channel, just search "filipus wisnumurti animenz project" You'll find the video which has the sheets, and on the desc there's a link to fonzi's synthesia video of this Edit: actually wisnu's video is in the description of this video.... so yeah look at the desc, then go to the desc of that lol

simply beautiful. I really enjoyed zzz's arrangement of this song. However, I simply fell in love with this arrangement. I could genuinely feel the beauty, and I had goosebumps through some of the pivotal moments of this piece. I attend a music school, I am trained classically, and I study music theory; so I have been through a lot of repertoire, and I must say this arrangement is simply one of the best arrangements of a song I've ever heard in my life. I was genuinely ready to cry, and to tear up at some spots due to the emotional connection I could piece together with the story of the show. Enough about emotions, this arrangement is clearly done by a professional. You are a wonderful musician who has mastered their craft, and I must say, the musicality you have is something to be desired by anyone. Anyway, enough of my stupid rant. Thank you for this arrangement.

Bruhh letsgoo! Welcome back! I have to say, for this particular arrangement it's amazing how much texture and expression you were able to elicit with just the middle register of the piano (which happens to be the majority of notes playedbthis cover). Definitely shows that each note was arranged with purpose. Keen to hear more from you!

I'm not very familiar with the game, but this arrangement already has a nostalgic feel like it belongs to some VN with top-notch music. Despite being so busy for such a long time, you managed to keep up with or even outdo yourself in terms of arranging. Hopefully the very positive community reception washes away some self-doubt as far as your arranging and performance abilities. Disclaimer: my music theory knowledge is not up to snuff, but hopefully I'm semi-coherent. Now to look at the arrangement itself, overall, everything flowed so well, I couldn't help but be entranced upon listening like I'm swimming in a sea of reflection and pensiveness. For most of the arrangement, the range (distribution of registers) of the bass and *main* melody feels mostly uniform. This is not a bad thing, as uniformity here works wonderfully like a kind of musical hypnosis. Ironically, that made it hard to analyze objectively since the listener is just totally sucked in; on the flip side, that makes listening to it much easier as well. Starting off, the prologue (1st section) already serves to hypnotize listeners. Then, we have good use of secondary embellishments such as 0:35 and 1:05. The fact that the music takes some breathers such as around 1:30 and 3:09 makes it less suffocating - an instance where "less is more." Performance wise, you also do a great job bringing out the main melody whenever you have a all the texture from extra voices. Arranging wise, I think your inclination towards thirds, sixths, as well as "stacked harmony" work well and don't detract from the experience. Then at around 3:36, you included a mesmerizing descending arpeggio - every time I hear this section, I'm just in utter awe. You vary this transition at around 3:50 with an ascending scale, which was appropriate to add some extra color to the precedent. Little grace notes like around 4:22 with that G# sixth added to the B Major 7 minor 3 chord are just icing, adding to the color again, keeping it not overly interesting so as to jolt listeners out of the trance but also not underwhelming so as to lose interest. Next, you have an interesting chord progression starting with G Major + augmented and B dom to transition to G Major from a overwhelmingly black-key tonal center (D# minor or Eb minor). With that, 4:49 is aptly toned down but with tasteful chords in the upper registers. The musical line and the buildup is great at 5:13 with the executed crescendo and quick arpeggio based off the G Major 9th -- we didn't get too see many quick runs or arpeggios so that makes this instance all the more high-impact. The section following this build-up is the moment that delivers the final whirlwind of emotion. The end is just so VN-esque as well with the compounding colors/harmonies from the sustain, the ascending registers, culminating in the very open 13th chord in the bass. If I could associate imagery to the arrangement, I'd say it's a pensive spiral that inspires reflection and introspection. Congrats --- you've really improved here (if you compare to your very early works). Hope you gain more self-confidence along this journey because the arrangement is definitely solid and maybe your skills don't seem like they've been crippled by medicine like you might suggest (kekw). The community has much to learn and enjoy from you but at the same time, you should just arrange for yourself, not for anyone else --- rather than keeping expectations low (although same could be said for me too omegalul). Anyways, you doggone did it boi. Pls teach me your ways here, because my arranging ability has definitely withered away to the point that I, a retired armchair animusician, wonder how you could even arrange something like this :copege:

I finally get to sit down and reply to your comment and I must I'm really happy that somehow you ended up liking this arrangement so much man lol. You are really spot on with catching all of this little details I add. I think this is something I've become more and more interested in. "How to make a music sounds engaging at all time with minimal change between each section" since too much change and your music will sounds like a mess, but too little and your music will sound stale. I think the end it's all about knowing what to use and in which timing. Like the arpeggio 3:36 is also one of my favorite section, because on paper it's just Db/Eb chord but I make it so I have this heavy Eb on the bass while sprinkle Db in an arpeggio with a turn around. Since arpeggio occurs so rarely in this piece, when it hit the spot at the right time it has an elevated effect. Ironically the scarcity of technique is what made each appearance more invaluable. By treating a technique as a "limited resource", this restriction can actually help stopping yourself to rely on technique when you don't know how to proceed. Anyway this is just my mindset when arranging this song, since I'm still in the process of derusting, the question becomes "how to make things sound good without overly complicating and makes practicing an absolute hell" :D

I think this is the first comment i've ever left on your channel for some reason. I've been secretly watching and enjoying your covers for over a year now lolol. this was amazing. the section at 5:34 took me back to animenz key medley, gave big nostalgia vibes. even though you said this arrangement is nothing special, it's definitely one of my new favorites from you.

Biano bro back with a BANGER. Welcome back to arranging man, hope to hear more bangers soon. As always the arrangement is insanely good with lots of nuance and details... The song hides a lot of sadness in it, people who have played the game and know the context of this song will be brought to tears... Commenting for the algorithm btw: Alternate title for the song: Lady of Hresvelg

Ok I almost forgot how rich your arrangements are, especially harmonicaly speaking. I'm glad you chose to cover something from Fire Emblem because tbh, this game saga has some of my favorite osts of all time, especially because of its use of musical motifs, often rearranged and reharmonized in several themes for several situations. I think you have a full understanding of this aspect because of the way you implemented other melodies alongside the main one. Your choice of voicings is also very relevant, adding color to the music yet maintaining a very well defined harmonic structure. I will keep waiting for upcoming arrangements, they're worth the wait. Wishing you the best for your personal life too, I know it's sometimes difficult to work on music when it's not your main activity, or your job.

@@LouisR56 Yeah I really agree that FE music is simply god tier, there are so much depth behind it that I feel like it deserves to be heard. I think it's because I'm always gravitate to some sort of melody "vibe" (like some song I can listen and immediate imagine what sorts way I should be playing, sometimes I can even imagine secondary melody on a fly) This cover in particualar is just me following that inspiration after listening to this beautiful OST I hope I can keep doing this as well! making music is a beautiful way to express myself, as well as sharing the beauty of the art to others. I hope I can keep doing it for years to come!
