Wow! Bangalore has changed so much from the 60's. In those days, one could never see a high rise building such as now. Most homes, had a garden, especially in the cantonment areas. The best place to walk around, was commercial street and Brigade Road and if one wanted more greenery, we use to go to the Lalbarg gardens or the beautiful Vidhana Soudha. Bangalore (Bangaluru), was about 26 kms from end to end and Lingarajapuram was the outskirts. It was paradise and the weather was pleasant throughout the year. We knew the neighbours, up and down the roads by name, as it was a small world then with a small population of around 3 to 4 lakhs. To see Bangalore now, I am quite lost, cause it has become such a vast cosmopolitan city which has brought much glamor to one and all. But, I'm am old timer and miss the old Bangalore where I use to sit outside my home in the mornings and sip my cup of Chai, which is a sheer delight. Walking down memory lane, after seeing this blog now. I'm quite nostalgic now, but happy to see the changes, which is a must for a prosperous India. Jai Hind. ❤

For your kind information . Bangalore is the second largest IT hub in the world. Ok , first is USA. Second is my city. Here you can find all the branch office of all IT companies of the world. Another important thing is , any international or national online companis , if they plan to start a new business as experiment or as its foundation , they will start in Bangalore. For example, all online food companies such as Swiggy , zomato,etc , Taxi companies Ola and Uber , and also Amazon ,Flip cart , Big Basket and many many. Being a taxi driver, I have visited all parts of my city. I have roamed each road of this city. It's a hill city. 30 years ago , it had a very cold weather. Even now I can remember ,when I was in schooling , I didn't felt the strong sun rays even in summers. Just imagine , it was always dizzling every where , apart from summers. Cool wind , everywhere greenery , all over the city , sounds of Rajkumar songs and hindi songs. Can't forget those minutes. We all miss our old Bangalore.
