Almost 1+ year back , don’t remember exactly you may reach in one full tank (Maruti Dzire) in one way with fuel remaining for another 89-100 km can differ based on driving style.

Not in India currently. But anyways I guess you may need to reach Kengeri -Bangalore first then take right root. We went via below root but not sure about current road conditions. Shortest distance seems to be via Hassan. Neelamangala-Hiriyur - Kollur.

Route exact same as shared in video all deviations covered, Bangalore-Davanagere-then deviate to Harihar Shimoga road till Kollur through NH 69 and NH 766C

Restaurants better to have within NH 48 only.. there are few hotels not so great but manageable.
