Put a tray under Cruz’s water and food dishes. You can get one that would fit those bowls. Ask the dental office you go to and ask if you can get an instrument tray. It would fit his food dish holder no problem and it has a lip on it so the water would stay in the tray and not on your floors.

I was on Vancouver island for 2 weeks in July. Was amazing we drove all over most of the island and 2month wander back down the coast but as we are now limping back to Arizona and we are a little musty from the Pacific Northwest. I am trying to save my camp chair by leaving it out in the sunshine. I don’t know how you do it. I am looking forward to drying out again!!

Regarding the mats? If you think they just need thorough cleaning and drying out, how about getting a second set and rotating them? While one set is being used, the other can be in the shop airing out. That way, you have both the comfort of the ones you really like plus the cleanliness you crave without the waste. Enjoy! P.S. Maybe try one or two of the Doggone Dirty Dog chenille rugs they sell at PetValu. They come rolled up but have a very good non slip backing and you can wash them. They dry super quickly and would still be soft on your knees while not moving around when you are on it. We have a few sizes of them at our house and use them not just for our dogs. Just an idea.
