Hey thanks for the video. Would you mind how much is your current home? I really love your home. It doesn't look a like it's condo. I will be in Bankok in 30 days... Looking for condo or home like yours.

Those old train lines have incredibly noisy trains late at night. I couldn't sleep when I stayed close to them

I hope you will enjoy your new job & new home! Good luck! Bangkok is a very large city. In your opinion, which suburbs or neighborhoods are best for a quiet, peaceful life?

Hmm this a bit tough question, I dont see bkk as a quite & peaceful area tbh 😅

lol... true enough. Mabye I should have asked for "slightly less noisy & marginally less chaotic"? 555 I know that it gets a bit better, as you move futher away from city center, without moving all the way to Isan. Are there any districts or subdistricts which you think are more attractive, but still within a reasonable distance to the BTS or MRT?

555? Wow u know how to laugh like thai ppl 😄 maybe try bts dark green line. It's less crowded than light green line also near by the river and close to many beautiful attractions.

Yes, I found out about 555 recently, while I was learning how to count numbers in Thai. Very funny! I am trying to learn some basic Thai, for my next visit to Bangkok, after I retire, in about 2-5 years. Learning a new language is also good for the brain, for older people like me. :) I will keep your suggestion in my future travel plan - thank you! I had planned to spend a couple of days riding around on the various BTS and MRT lines, as well as on the river buses, to find good neighborhoods, with convenient access to public transport. Note: No taxis or cars for me; I really, really did not like getting stuck in Bangkok street traffic! And, motorbikes are just too dangerous, imo.
