AK, as always enjoying your content. Bangkok is such a beautiful and civilized city unlike here, your hometown NYC. It was nice to see the train personnel helping the blind person. You must be glad to be there! I do too man

I'm still surprised the transit card machines don't accept credit cards, but it's good to know. Great views of the city from the train. 😎 Thank you for sharing this informative and relaxing BTS SkyTrain ride, AK! 🤗🚆

Thank you for the video. Very interesting. The other MRT - line you were searching for is the Pink Line, not the Red Line (Red Line is driven by SRT).

I guess that's the big difference from the MRT & BTS where the MRT you can use credit cards. I also realize you can at least get day passes for unlimited travel I guess on the BTS lines, but not the MRT. Something I'll have to keep in mind then...
@ActionKid10 ай бұрын
The MRT with its tap to pay credit card system is far superior
@Wanderer_in_the_Desert_Winds10 ай бұрын
@@ActionKid I know, and I would have thought the BTS was more advanced as they have day travelcards, so that's just odd why they don't have the tap...
@AngelDarioDeLaPuente10 ай бұрын
Another difference is that you see the urban landscape haha, will this train have stations well away from the center?
@hassanalihusseini17176 ай бұрын
Unfortunately you cannot use same ticket for the system. When I want to go five stops from my station (Sri Kritha, Yellow Line) to Nana (BTS, Light Green) I have to use three different travel cards if I go the fastest way. Funniest thing: I have to use my BTS (Rabbit) Card on Yellow Line, even it is run by the MRT. I don't mind so much that I cannot pay by credit card as I like to have immediate control over spendings.
@Wanderer_in_the_Desert_Winds6 ай бұрын
@@hassanalihusseini1717 Yes I realized all 3 systems were very different when I did eventually go. MRT was the easiest that I could just use my credit card right there at the entry gate and not stand in line to purchase a ticket. BTS I think I had to get a ticket, but was able to use cash at the machine and then I beileve if I recall, I had to pay cash at an attendent for the Yellow Line. MRT was by far the easiest and quickest and the one I generally used the most anyways...
