If you are worried about eating very spicy food, just say in Thai: "mai-ped" or "not spicy". Being very nice people the Thais will do their best to accommodate a farang (white person). Don't forget to sign up for a cruise down the Chao Phraya River; you can usually book the cruise through your hotel consierge. One month in Thailand, I am so jealous (grounded here in NYC).

I miss Bangkok so much. Was there three times and stayed for a month each time. A piece of my heart will always be there. I'm from San Francisco and Red Bluff (Northen California) and we love spicy foods. I was at home in Thailand. I used to eat all the hot peppers and chilis they gave me plus all of the peppers out of the fish sauce. By the way, you are beautiful! Always loved Canadian women!

Great video of Bangkok by scooter. Alex's scooter is a Honda PCX. I rented the PCX in Khao Yai and Hua Hin. Great scooter indeed. I rented a Yamaha Fino for 300 THB in Bangkok and rode to Ayutthaya. Thanks for sharing your Bangkok experience. Kudos Alina.

I'd prefer to come to thai small village near the ocean. Maybe because of my living in a big city (Moscow, Russia). But now as I can see they still require to stay on quarantine for the first few days - all of my vacation actually. So all I can do - just to wait for these restrictions cancelation. P. S. I have even successfully passed an exam for A (motorcycle) category - to legally rent a bike there)
