Glad you guys go there very very good and fresh seafood when I visit home last time we brought 1 kg giant crab lump meet (a little it bigger more than on top of your fried rice) with free cook we pick 2 kind of dish for half a kilo each dish course us about $50 each dish love it plus other seafood and I go home with so much food course I can’t finish it. Include every thing else I spend a little bit over$200 with all premium seafood for 4 of us we also get lot of Thai snack for night train to chiang mai we spend half night eating snack on the train. Thailand food food foodddd heaven.

This place was amazing! I went here in October. It took about an hour and a half from my hotel via train and bus. The best seafood there imo. Fair price too. I started with salmon, then half a kilo of river prawn and wrapped it up with the spiny lobster. all under 45$ I wish I had more stomach space but I only ended up getting ice cream :(. Will go back again hopefully next year xD

If you like crab fried rice, you must try “Here Hai”. Its crab fried rice is very famous with some Michelin. It’s on Ekamai main road between soi 12 and 10.

If you guys have time, try to drive to Nakhon Pathom province, which is 1 hour drive from Bangkok. Right now, they have a festival called Phra Pathom Chedi Fair and Festival until 20th this month. You can find a lot of good food there!

It is quite difficult to distinguish if they’re farm raised or wild caught. Totally understand your concerns. However, when we went, their fish was definitely higher quality from what we have experienced in comparison to the states. Both restaurants and fish markets. We would definitely go back for sure. Honestly, the seafood market was hands down amazing! It’s hard to compare because it’s buffet quality vs market. If you prefer quality as your number 1 priority and don’t have a budget, definitely the market. Otherwise, the buffet would suffice considering how cheap it was and you have a lot more options.
