for the people who're saying its not safe to eat raw chicken...Japanese restaurants, especially those that specialise in chicken will always use sashimi grade chicken for their sashimi , these chicken are not raised like those in us and are raised free range and organic and carefully monitored so they wont have bacteria or infections
@MarkWiens9 жыл бұрын

Exactly. Japan has much higher standards in raising animals such as chickens for food and eggs. Eating raw eggs in Japan is also normal. Unlike here in the US where the majority of our animals are grown & processed in crowded disease ridden factories. Salmonella poisoning in Japan is extremely rare.
@justinetheasian9 жыл бұрын
+Sync Conan Exactly what I was thinking. Raw chicken at a sashimi restaurant in japan is much better than our mass produced salmonella infested mutated chicken here in the states lol

OSAKA!!! I lived in IMAZATO for 14 years. I know Osaka, Kobe and Kobe very very well. Well nice lunch before your flight. Like the egg plant but ill pass on tilapia. I find it funny you got the center seat. Japan is the only country that has a center seat on a bus. lol you should have gone to 7/11 they are 24 hours and they serve hot food. not great but still good. If your going to eat raw chicken you can do it in Japan the part cooked chicken is sasami. The tofu with bonito and negi is yummy. Japanese fried chicken is the bomb. yes bonito moves when put on hot food and its shaved bonito. Loved the video. Pity I was not there I could show you Osaka, Kobe and Kyoto of some awesome places to eat.

+Midala40/ D and A's Food Review Oh cool to hear you lived in Japan for so long. Such a great food country. Do you go back to visit sometimes still?
@midala409 жыл бұрын
+Mark Wiens Good morning Mark,Ye I loved Japan still even today. Japan is such a great food country and is a great culinary adventure. Foods in Japan are very refined even in the most simplest food their. Flavor's can be very complexes in that country but that is what makes them such a neet place to visit. I plan to take my son there so he may see and taste japan as a whole. I am glad my son and his friend took up doing food reviews. Their reviews are basic but they are trying to get their ability to taste the flavors around them. they will get there one day. Yes I try to go back once in a while but mostly in passing but if I had a chance I would move back there in a heart beat. Next year my son and I will take over Tokyo, Osaka, Kobe ,Kyoto, Hiroshima yamaguchi and a few other places on our adventure. I will attempted to make a video Vlog of our complete trip. Will not be as pretty as your but it will a good way to enjoy the adventure.. God bless Mark

@the-a65859 жыл бұрын
+pocketstash isn't it dangerous to eat raw chicken because of a bacteria in the chicken?
@djjaewon9 жыл бұрын
+sunshifruit yay When it comes to Chicken Sashimi, these chickens are raised like kings. They only get the best stuff to eat, roam free, and live wild. So because of that, the meat is perfection. Bacteria is only immanent when you get poultry where chickens are raised all bunched up in a slaughterhouse full of chicken crap.

Mark, you went from brave man to suicidal, I know those Japanese chickens aren't the same we have in Europe/USA, but still, it's probably the most dangerous meat to eat raw because Salmonella can survive for months in water. It's impossible to have a germ free environment from the egg to the plate, it's never safe, not anywhere in the world, that bacteria is no joke.
@pignonMZ69 жыл бұрын
+eagleeye929 Well that's the thing, it doesn't, in fact most of the time it comes from the kitchen itself. It's a matter of trust really, I would never trust anyone, anywhere to serve me raw chicken, nothing to do with hypochondria, don't push it thar far...
