So I have been married to a Thai for 38 years and have never visited wat Arun,I have passed the restaurants opposite wat Arun many times on the river,I am going to Bangkok next week and because of you I now know how to find the place for a sunset,thank you so much,I will have a look at some more videos,thanks again

Wat Arun (Temple of Dawn) is a must-visit temple in Bangkok Metropolis along with Wat Pho and the Grand Palace. It is located on Thonburi side of Chao Phraya river. Thonburi was Thailand's capital lasting about 15 years founded by King Taksin who liberated Siam from Burmese army which invaded and destroyed Ayutthaya (Thailand's capital for 400+ years). Thai capital was relocated to the opposite side of Bangkok when King Rama I established the present Chakri dynasty. Thonburi was a province lasting until late 1970s when it was amalgamated into Bangkok Metropolis. The symbol of Thonburi province was Wat Arun. The main stupa was built during King Rama III. The decorated pottery pieces (ceramics) were imported from China as well as 1-meter tall deity stone statues which were used as stabilizers in junk ships plying the trade route. ผมว่าราคาก็ไม่แพงมาก เมื่อดูคุณภาพร้าน location ที่ดูวัดอรุณที่สวยมาก 2 cocktail 2 coke ราคา 600 กว่าบาท Cocktail ถ้าร้านดีๆ โรงแรม 5 ดาว rooftop restaurants pub พวก hard Rock Cafe ราคาปกติแก้วนึงก็สองสามร้อยแล้ว I like it!

Many rooftop bars and restaurants there, I have been there last evening Saturday, "Chom Arun restaurant" roasted big river prawns 799 baht for 1kg (toooo cheap but cash only), food delicious. if you are in Thailand now, please don't miss this chance. BKK can drink alcohol now.

enjoy the meal, creamy big river prawns head with seafood Thai source, Sap!!!! So delicious that I want to lick my hand. Now the price of pork in Thailand is expensive, but shrimp, prawns are cheap.

Great bar, great views apart from the people that are only their to capture their Instagram Photos , sadly for many it’s just another tick in a box, I’ve sat their pre pandemic and sadly seen the people who did not see the real beauty of the view and the river life. Who travels around with a professional photographer to capture a moment that hasn’t been lived , such a shame. The hotel and restaurant are cool as well 😎

BTW, according to Jonese Lang Lasalle the office vacancy rate in Bangkok is projected to be a whopping 16% by year-end 2021, with 6 prime projects expected to be completed wihin the next 12 months. These projects, some of which you have featured, will add an additional 164,000 sqm on comercial office space to an already over-built situation. Commercial rents have aleady fallen 11.3% this year and will probably decline further next year. It's beyond reason why Thai banks continue to make large loans to fund these a massive trouphy office towers.
