The hospitality in Dhaka, Bangladesh has been amazing and so far every one we have met has been very friendly and hospitable. This was our first time being invited by a Bangladeshi family for dinner.
The food was incredible and everything tasted absolutely delicious. We can not thank our Bangladeshi hosts enough for being so kind and opening their home to us and for inviting us to a family dinner.
It was an evening full of laughter, stories, amazing food and great time with the Bangladeshi family with their generosity.

I’m a Bangladeshi live in uk and 95% Indian restaurants own by bangladeshi people and all the indian curries created by Bangladeshi chef. If you go to a Indian own Indian restaurant the curries are totally different.

Such a lovely family to invite you both into their home for a meal, it goes to show Bengali hospitality is second to none in my opinion. When you go to a Bengali household for a dawat (invite) be prepared for a feast because we don’t just serve you one or two dishes, it’s gotta be more than 4+ dishes because that’s the way we roll. Looking after our guest is our passion and we always want and try to be the best host as much as we humbly can to our guest because it is a matter of pride for us, it’s our culture & tradition. People in our country can be very poor but they will still invite a guest in and will go all out within their capacity to look after their guests, that is the real Bangladesh 🇧🇩 Another lovely wholesome vlog guys, whenever I watch your vlogs it always reminds me of couple bloggers Shehwar & Maria because both of you are really down to earth and bring brilliant contents to your subscribers just like Shehwar & Maria. My curious mind always wants to know why Americans/Brits doesn't host Asians as guest at their home as they receive the love, respect and home welcome from us? Because we expect the similar as well. Kind of disappointed. Shame on the host family! You invite some guests in your home and you feed them " vorta" crap? What's wrong with you? You want them to eat "chapila and gura mach" crap? Why couldn't you prepare some korma, Kala vuna, beef vuna, or chicken?
