Honestly it seems more like chicken korma than soup bcz hotel style breakfast chicken soups r normally less thick nd with less ingredients as far as i know. But good cooking nd editing though.

I think bread does the thickening, its almost like white.sauce for pasta... You can use flour as well with a dash of sugar

It’s not adapted from Punjabi malai chicken. This is an old Dhaka soup recipe. Old Dhaka cuisine consist of heavier malai dishes. You wouldn’t know I’m guessing you’re Indian. This is a popular soup in Bangladesh.. don’t comment if you’re uneducated
