Banijay Crime - Crime Documentary

Күн бұрын

On the 25th November 1996, a series of anonymous emergency calls led police to discover the body of Darryl Lewis at the Beenleigh Ambulance Station. They would be faced with a wall of silence and a climate of fear that would put their patience and skills to the test.
People are fascinated, have a morbid curiosity and are drawn to stories of murder. Investigators will take you to the scenes of infamous and bizarre murders and into the enthralling investigations that follow. Footage that has never been seen outside of the courtroom will give viewers first hand knowledge of the case. All of this is done so as to unfold the drama minute by minute - just as it unfolded for the participants themselves when the victim was murdered. In some cases, viewers will come face to face with the murder him/herself.

Been saying the same thing. Pretty sure the cops here in the USA wouldn't like spending 80,000 dollars and 6 months time investigating for a farce like those jail terms in Oz.

@crocusflower It's rarely acrossed the board, though. The D.A. will usually try to make a deal with the people that are willing to cooperate with the investigation. Example - 5 people are involved in a murder. 1 of them pulled the trigger, 2 of them set it up, 1 of them was the get away driver, and 1 of them knew it was going to happen, but didn't call the cops. The D.A. will offer deals to the person who knew about it and the get away driver, in exchange for their testimony and cooperation with the investigation and the person that pulled the trigger, will be sentenced to life in prison. Edit - I didn't give an example because I think you're stupid. :-) I apologize in advance if it appears that way. I just wasn't sure if I was making sense.

Everyone keeps saying "what did he think was going to happen", I'm sorry but it doesn't matter whether he knew or not what or who these people or that man was. I highly doubt when he stole that bike he was thinking to himself "I better not steal this because they'll kill me"!! Really people!! That's the problem about people that commit crimes " THEY DON'T THINK AT ALL ABOUT THE CONSEQUENCES OF THEY'RE ACTIONS" they're just thinking about themselves and getting what they want!!!!!

The cop commenting at the very end is an idiot - He's apparently quite upset that the bikers would be prepared to take a human life for the sake of a motorcycle. He's so off base it's laughable! They were prepared to put the fear of the Club into anyone who wold DARE to disrespect their Club and thus, themselves. He wasn't to be killed at all - he was to be an object lesson for any others who were not prepared to fear and respect the Club.

If someone has to be a very weak person and join a gang, and the gang works as one entity, then if one person commits a crime, then the whole gang should be tried as one!
@alexburke1899
@alexburke1899 2 жыл бұрын
They have something here in the States called the RICO act that was originally introduced so the government could prosecute the mob members more as an entity than individually. Basically the government only has to prove the gang exists, who is in the gang and who the leaders are and that the gang had committed crimes. They no longer had to get the mob boss on tape ordering a hit they just needed to prove a criminal conspiracy was taking place.

The sentencing was shameful 👎 if they hadn't layed into him so quickly and brutily maybe they would have achieved what they originally went there for...... To retrieve the bike parts. However..... Saying that...... He was in for a beating anyway stupidly stealing those parts......not like they were going to pat him on the back & say beauty mate......thanks for those... We'll be off now 🤔.....nah...... something awefully bad was going down no matter what. Best not to be involved in criminal activity I reckon !!!
