It's interesting that they say he might be ex-military. The fact he killed 6 in a 30 day period and then stopped for a considerable time, makes me wonder if he was still in the military, and was home on leave. Perhaps they could check military records to see if there were any soldiers that had leave during the 2 periods of killing.

Dude calls 911 and cops arrive an hour after the incident, they might have been able to save the one girl if they got there earlier wow

The survivor in the Houston case said the suspect was notably short--in fact, she even thought he could pass as a horse jockey. Yet, the I-70 killer is often described as at least 5'7" to 5'8" (possibly taller). 5'7" is not exactly distinctly short, especially not short enough to be noticed as such or as even a jockey. I also read the FBI believes the 2001 liquor store killer may have been slightly over 6'0." I heard they even measured the shelves in the store. A man within average height range (like 5'7"-5'9"), often used to described the 1992 killer, doesn't fit the 2001 and Texas cases. Height, unlike hair amd complexion, cant be changed or hidden.

I read that as “after the incident” not after the ‘call’. It may be that he stayed some time post attack and that this is the ‘incident’. If it was one hour post ‘call’ then that is egregious. ❤️ from 🇨🇦

Instead of calling him the 1-70 killer we should’ve called him the Coward Killer! How has this guy not been caught yet? How did he not leave fingerprints or dna at any of the crime scenes?

People have to eat, and people have to sleep. Tim Hickman saw the guy walking from the direction of the grocery store. Grocery stores were some of the first to get video. I wonder if the police collected video from all grocery stores near crime scenes in the 30 minutes before shootings. I wonder if they collected guest logs from all motels along I70 during that time frame.

The police took over an hour to show up to a scene with an armed man who had two potential hostages? Great day for law enforcement. No wonder he was hard to catch, he wasn't murdering in police stations or donut stores.

* teletype...kinda like early fax machine technology. Someone would punch some details into a machine at one location, then send it to another location where it would be printed out. I believe phone landlines were used to transmit the information

Pulling the victims pants down was about the killer thinking that she was still alive and he checked that if her digestive system had emptied (after person dies the body will relax totally). Se he did that instead of leaving fingerprints on the body.

I saw the People Investigates on this guy. I was left angry bc it leaves you totally hanging. That show was created in 2023, and in the show, they went into depth about the items being checked for DNA through forensics. They made it sound like it just happened or it was ongoing. Turns out, after seeing Wikipedia, that DNA testing was done a few years before that, and law enforcement refuse to give out the results. It just turned shady really quick. Just one ? I had about this show, Dark Minds. Does anyone know why, if this show is legit, why they would refuse to identify who this serial killer is he is interacting with? It makes absolutely no sense why his identity needs to be disguised. Serial killers love attention and they are not going to want to be incognito about this. Unless, there never was one. Disguising the voice, the image, the vague no-help advice he always gives...this is also shady.

Im not a fan of this host, lacking and sometime a bit cringe, and serial killers also stop for a lot of reasons not just because theyre dead or incarcerated, BTK and the golde state killer stop and went on to have a life till theyre tracked and caught, I believe Ive heard if something happened in their lives sometimes it can trigger things in my opinion some are afraid to be caught so afraid that they stopped, because they know if they continue its inevitable.

I’d get what you mean if he admired them , but he’s visibly disgusted by them, often. Trauma changes you. Someone getting murdered that you were close to or knew, is a hard trauma to overcome I imagine. In my opinion that’s why he focuses on killers so much.
