999 critical condition is my personal favorite if you haven't watched it I'd definitely recommend! It's filmed in exactly the same way but just covers the really critical cases. But this show is a close second!:)

My heart goes out to that nurse new to the A&E. It's hard to explain how draining and physically exhausting cpr is..in the moment you're just so goal driven and fueled by adrenaline that you almost have to dissociate that this is a real person with a whole life and history and personality and so on:(

The chef and nurse are cute, but because of how they meet I don’t think she’s allowed to go out with him now without risking her license. It’s considered an abuse of the nurse-patient relationship.

Whenever older people come in to ED for whatever reason and they're on their own it makes me sad...I always wonder if they have family locally or friends/neighbors that help them often we need to get social services involved because sending someone home without any support at that age is horrible and sometimes for whatever reason if they have family and you call it's heartbreaking when they don't want to get involved we see if so often. Love this series!!!

44:19 With the support the guy has with those 3 Girls he doesn’t stand a chance of drinking after this, he may as well just throw in the towel as for as ever drinking alcohol again. Others should be so lucky. I stopped for 23 years, not I have a Beer in the evening and my wife has a glass of wine. I know I would never be that person again when I was younger, I’m older and wiser and know what I have and never want to lose it. That one of the benefits of stopping for as long as I did, you get to see what time you waisted and lost by putting alcohol first, now it’s just something and can take or leave.
