Long time cruiser. Generally, staff is friendly. I must say that I felt an extraordinary sense of happiness from each and every crew member featured in the video. There is no doubt this is a one -of-a-kind grand vessel, captain, crew, just everyone. I especially appreciated the elevator date/day changer man! Congratulations Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines for an impeccable job, all the way around! I think the ship is not only on my list, it’s probably going to be my next cruise!

We fell in love with Symphony of the Seas five years ago. We were just on her again two weeks ago. She and crew were just as wonderful on our last time aboard as the first. I love all the Oasis class ships (my favorite class) and have been on all them with exception of the new Utopia of the Seas, but will be cruising on her in March🛳️❤! I personally like the Oasis class ships more than Icon. Don’t get me wrong, Icon was wonderful but Oasis class is still my fav.

I get the sense these larger ships often only do short 7 day cruises. Wife and have cruised for 40 years and much prefer interesting longer itineraries, 21 day minimum duration on smaller ships, say 2500 passenger. We also prefer Princess cruises. I might sail on one of these behemoths one day just to say I did but currently we have 3 cruises already booked thru spring 2025.

Oasis class ships are really impressive….Symphony is one of now-six, soon-to-be seven Oasis class Royal Caribbean ships that are almost clones of each other but haven’t changed much since the very first one, Oasis of the Seas, which was MIND BLOWING back when it was introduced way back in 2009!

Technically you already have the option to do that, even if a ship docks, passengers aren't obligated to get off, in fact a lot of people take the opportunity to hit the water slides and pool with the ship being mostly empty.

I don't know about Oasis, but on all NCL (Norwegian Cruise Line), there's a bowling lane/pizza parlor that's open 24/7, that serves quick finger foods & drinks. I had OJ at 3am because I couldn't sleep. So just walked around, then stop there & asked them for a glass of OJ.
