Nice overview. I am actually punching and clipping this game. Aim to get it on the table sometime this month or next month.

Really excellent overview, this is quite an unusual game. Just punching and then conducting setup is rather daunting, as you mention. I would really like to see smaller battles in future volumes. Thank You again.

Thank you! It is very unique, but a fun experience, at least for me. I think you have to really get into the history of it to make it worthwhile. I agree-a smaller scenario:battle would be appealing. Not sure if that exists in this period…

There are some smaller battles in Ireland in the 9 Years War (War of the Three Kings) that I am angling for (Aughrim could do it). We will see. Someone might review OrBat and make a map to have a run at it.@@thegeneralsretreat1645

@@thegeneralsretreat1645, you really don't, Your Neerwinden is spot on :) Michael is thinking of a German 'w' which is pronounced with a 'v'.

@@johanmaes6295I wish I had played this game before I had visited Belgium in 2019-I would have made a detour.

And Blenheim is pronounced "Blen-imm". You're doing well...

Always fun to learn new place names! 😀

Yep... I have tended to say it "Blen-em" with the "em" as short and with dropped breath. @@thegeneralsretreat1645
