Well no, actually……..Lauren was desperate to keep her family and to get into her Parents’ (especially her Dad’s) good graces. But at the same time, she was being denied a normal life, and being utterly stifled of her natural teen needs, emotions and desires. It was an awful time for her, but somehow, she managed to pick her life up after her banishment. Her Dad turned into a nutcase, her mum followed suit, as did her siblings too! It’s dreadful how her family abandoned her and cast her out. Do they really think that’s what God would have wanted?!! 🤷‍♀️

She was not just taking this cults interpretation of the Bible unquestionably. She was a Berean and not a Judas. That's also how I got out of the Catholic Church.

Disgusting and inexcusable how her family treated her. I just read the part in her book where she sees her dad at the hospital where she works and he just looks right into her eyes and walks away, like she's a ghost. I really hope she is surrounded by love and validation now.

Sadly, no. The American Church is just that, AMERICAN. I stepped down as a pastor because even in the small country churches all you will find is mindless, faithless, loveless american version worship with a smile. So many directions to go with what you said but, those who know and preach the word here will NOT be accepted because we challange that the the power is not in the pastor, decon, or personal rightousness but in God alone!

it's not an opinion what i speak is truth and that's his word God hates the sin but loves the sinner. He loves everybody even you. no matter what you have done.
