I was born in Banja Luka but grew up in Australia since the age of 3 (I'm now 48). I've been back many times since. Banja Luka is not a "Tourist" destination (maybe not a bad thing) but there are many great places to visit and sites to see. I do have to admit you kind of need a local to help you out and show you not only the sites but culture too. If you can get out of the city into the countryside and interact with the locals you will not be disappointed, so many hidden gems....

14:09 mate there was a crosswalk both to your right and the left, you just couldn't see them because you were right in the middle, Banja Luka is quite strict about using crosswalks aka not many people will stop for you if you aren't on one, but if you are they will 100% stop

Yes, the city has Soviet-Socialist buildings, but people got to live somewhere. They all can't live in the small number of beautiful housing built by capitalists

I am Croatian, I was born in that city. I and all members of my family were mercilessly expelled by Serbian nationalists. Strangers will often be pleasantly surprised by the kindness. But there is one thing they don't know: Serbs have a folk proverb that reads: "Be nice, the man is a Frenchman." There are a lot of crazy people out there. Don't walk alone at night.

My grandparents are from mixed marriage,half serbien-half croatien...and after war its like every normal world country...in the war a lot of bad things happen and croatien also expelled serbs from their land...so in modern times everything is normal now like everywhere at balkan's...so dont listen this nationalist croatien idiot. Republika Srpska 🇷🇸. Bosna i Hercegovina is made by two entities. Republika Srpska (Serbian Republic) 49% of Bosnia and Herzegovina territory and Federation of BiH 51% where lives Bosniak Muslim and Croats. In Republika Srpska lives Serbs . After war 1992-95 two sides signed Deyton agreement with two entities who made BiH. Banjaluka is very beautiful sity but if you are visiting Republic of Srpska, than you should visit Trebinje. It's just 25 kilometers from Dubrovnik . Republika Srpska it's not "political entety but full administration, lands, forest, rivers etc .

A znamo ih mi, to kaže "bajram mi bio sinoć a jesam se napio" i gdje je tu logika? Islam je vjera koja brani alkohol. Te onda "građansko sarajevo" koje je bržebolje izletilo ispred OHRa ne bi li se Hrvatima oduzela prava. A redovno se snimaju socijalne emisije o neimaštini i bijedi. Zašto ne izađu po tom pitanju na ulice? Zato jer su fašisti i đavli i najgori su bili '41. kad je njihova "sandžak divizija" pobila boga oca pa se danas sve tereti Hrvatima, a naročito Zagrebu. I tako ne imat posla sa njima nikakvog i gotovo. Prijatelju tebi ljudski pozdrav. 🇭🇷🇷🇸

@@cuvarizapada A kako jado misliš da se razdvajamo kad živimo izmiješano na većini teritorija Federacije? A to podilaženje Srbima si možeš spremiti negdje. Možete vi živjeti u miru ali prvo da se poubijate, pokoljete i poistrebljujete, pa razgraničite. Hrišćanska ljubav i praštanje. Sreća pa ćete uskoro poizumirati i poiseliti se, BiH će biti bošnjačko-srpska sa lojalnom hrvatskom manjinom.

@@arzuhalhanific8030 nek se gleda većinska narodnost na određenom teritoriju i nek se po tome planu radi, uglavnom za Hercegovinu. Srednja bosna i posavina su, istina, izmješane, većinski Hrvatski dijelovi su odvojeni od granice Hrvatske i okruženi bošnjačkom teritorijom, ali ništa sporno nek ostanu u sastavu "građanske BiH" pod uvjetom da im Hrvatska daje pune benefite sa konzulatima u svakoj općini/gradu i sa predstavnicima u Hrvatskom parlamentu. Sve se može kad se hoće. A što se tiče ovih tvojih poruka mržnje samo iznova i iznova dokazujete tko ste i što ste. Fašisti i mrzitelji svega različitog, a jadni ni sami svjesni niste da su vam djedovi bili Hrvati ili Srbi koji su prodali vjeru i naciju za vreću brašna. Stidi se.
