@@ddd7038 well, let's consider a few things about what the old team did before deciding that a new team would be horrible. 1. Banjo Tooie, the folly of manjo, was a touch bloated and bogged down by backtracking in worlds twice as expansive as the original game. 2. Banjo Kazooie Nuts and Bolts, if Tooie was the folly, this was the demise. The worlds kept getting bigger because the old team thought bigger worlds would be better for Banjo. Things got too big, and vehicles had to get involved. 3. Yooka Laylee. While it is more a return to form, it suffers from every problem Tooie had and more. An energy bar to limit your use of the best mobility option you have (which controls poorly) is NOT a good thing to have in a game where the whole point is that the levels are huge. Further, those huge levels should probably have things in them, yeah? The old team, while I admire their work and everything they did, just hasn't got it anymore. They lost sight of what made the games good in the first place: Charming characters, a cheeky sense of humor, tight controls, and fun filled levels. A proper third game would need things the old team just hasn't given us of late. Being blunt, Yooka and Laylee didn't draw me in as characters. The chameleon was laid back and smart and the bat was driven onto our quest purely by greed, but not even in a funny way. She just saw that the book had value and wanted to get it back to sell it. The outcome would've been the same as just letting the book go anyway, she'd have sold it to the highest bidder who would've been Capital Bee. I take some issue with Tooie's story as well before anyone thinks I'm just being hard on Yooka Laylee. I was invested in Tooie, sure, but it seemed like the story was WAY too dark for this cast. The first time i played Tooie when I was a little kid I think I actually cried seeing Bottles die and spiral mountain in shambles. I know we don't play Banjo games for the story, but the hook has to at least exist and it has to at most be slightly absurd. Rhyming beauty stealing witch good, boney hag intent on sucking the life out of the planet bad. I'm at a point where I think a new team and only like 4 people from the old team would be best. Those 4 would be Grant Kirkhope, Gregg Mayles, Chris Seavor, and Chris Sutherland. Those last two are just to get the voice sounds right. Grant works sort of freelance by the look of things so getting him for the soundtrack would be easy, and Gregg still works at rare. If you want a fifth, Steve Mayles would be good to get back, but seeing how he's leading playtonic the best I could see him doing is character design consultation just to make sure no one destroys the feel of the game. Sorry to drag on this long, this is just a series I'm passionate about and I feel like it might need some new blood to actually do anything in this day and age. Let's face it, a big empty world and a few moves from a bear and bird is just another disappointment and directly in line with the way the old team works.

Play Hat in Time. To me, is is the perfect 3D platformer. Banjo was almost perfect but its movement was kinda slow, a hat in time has almost all of Banjo's good things plus the movement is so fast and precise

NintendoCapriSun is the only reason I ever watched KZbin as a kid, getting into his LP's from looking up something about Ultimate Chimera in Brawl and coming across his Mother 3 LP (which ended up being one of my favorite games of all time). I agree with the difficulty of this game, I remember getting stuck on a puzzle in gobi cove and not playing the game for 4 years, coming back to it I figured it out and finally beat the game. After not playing it for 4 years! Still this game is one of the most original, most amazing and fun platforming games I've ever played in my life
