Banjo-Kazooie Remastered | RUSTY BUCKET BAY

Project Dream is about bringing back the Nintendo 64 games Banjo-Kazooie & Banjo-Tooie back to life through a series of nostalgic cinematic trailers.
Rusty Bucket Bay is the eighth world in Banjo-Kazooie. It consists of a cargo steamboat called The Rusty Bucket, its dangerous internal workings, rooms on the ship itself, and the polluted water and harbor that surrounds it. The entrance to this world is located on the seventh floor of Gruntilda's Lair, through an underwater passage. However, the water level is too low on the duo's first visit and requires the water level switch in the graveyard section of Gruntilda's Lair to be activated first. Its picture is located high above the entrance through a small alcove. This can be reached either by activating the second water switch in the same room or by swimming into the next room and finding another tunnel with a breakable grate. Both lead to the same area and the picture is behind a breakable grate. The picture requires 12 Jiggies to complete.

the wall textures for the lair are my favorite thing in all of videogaming. the color pallets used, making the green really pop and putting faces all over- its still my favorite texture

Excellent work! This turned out great! I really do enjoy industrial areas as the machinery looks so cool. It would be interesting if in a remaster version, Rusty Bucket sailed out to sea where the final boss waited. Speaking of which, I'd love to see Grunty Industries from Banjo Tooie. Not many people seem to like this level, but I bet a remastered version would look great. Of course if you plan on doing one game at a time, then I'd also like to see Clanker's Cavern.

This is an absolutely phenomenal piece of work you're doing. Though I can't help but wonder, is there any end-goal in mind beyond just all these showcases? It would be amazing to be able to explore these incredible worlds you have made, even without any real gameplay to go with them. Banjo-Kazooie was such an important piece of so many childhoods, and you are doing god's work. ...I'd also love to see Glitter Gulch Mine redone. Its always been my favorite level. P.S. How this hasn't gotten more of a following is beyond my understanding. Its glorious.

Still to this day, I wake up most nights in a cold sweat and screaming. The panic attacks have become a daily occurrence. The stress and anxiety caused my wife to leave, taking the kids as well. I loved the level for the realism I saw with rooms inside the ship. I felt the real world was made so unique and campy. I loved the sailors with their uniforms and the ventilation shafts that would chomp on me. I would love to see Grunty Industries done like this or the glorious Jolly Roger's Bay done this way.

This really opened my eyes to what the Banjo and Kazooie story really was about. I don't why I didn't think about this until now. It was about humans polluting the world for their own greed, destroying the environment, and endangering the lives of the animals that live in them. Grunty was one of those people, but there were other's as evidenced by the Rusty Bucket ship flagged by England.

The modern special effects in the old school polygonal environment is what I absolutely adore the most in these. The additional fauna, smoke, sparks, etc. Like watching on screen what my brain told me this game looked like when it released. It's incredible
