This is my first time seeing you. It's nice to see a fishing sister! Try clipping the gills with scissors to bleed the fish out. Then put it on a stringer and put it back in the water

If you're looking for numbers of catfish use chicken liver. You can toughen them up with a little kosher salt or wrap them in old stockings. Those rocks look like they were underwater so be careful because they can get too hot and explode.

It's nice that you're catching a catfish my sister, when you're going to fillet the fish put a nail in the very bottom of the tail that will keep it from sliding then proceed, great job

When you make a fire with wet rocks try staying away as much as possible aside from adding wood because the moisture in the rock's can and do get hot enough to explode.

Took my 2 young adults on a bit of a fishing tutorial last year. They never went fishing before....suburbs kids.😊 My son loved to see me get a few bites.....no successful catch & release tho. My daughter, however, was freaking out as she is not an 'outdoors girl' at all. Lol!! Love this video! For all the critics....move on. She'll get even better with time, like y'all did. Nice presentation and beautiful catfsh that you caught beautful lady. What you should've done with your cooking presentation of the catfish fillets or the nuggets as well as the whole cake bread was to build your fire under the tent to keep the rain from ruining your hot oil as well as your meal.
