Pretty good day fishing from shore on a massive reservoir! White bass are good fish to have in a lake, they reproduce proficiently year after year, put up a good fight, hit a variety of lures and aren't hard to catch when you find them. And they fry up pretty nice too. 👍

That goes both ways brother, but diversifying your skill set portfolio is important for all of us. I grew up 3 miles from the 4th largest lake in Nebraska, fishing it 100+ days a year for over 20 years. And yes, river fishing is a different animal, but great fishermen always adapt and provide.🤙🏼

Always start on the windward side. Parallel to shore if possible, for striped fish, and work any wood available. You might find something else around the wood.

I find super gluing the baby Whales on the finesse jighead helps with durability. Also UV glue works better but not everyone has it. Happy 169k stache man

Throw out some cut bait way out and put a float a foot away from bait and a weight 3-4ft up from the hook so it floats 2-3 ft off the bottom . Probably will catch some big cats if u get it way out in deep spots

I have never caught a white bass! I don’t think I have been in very many lakes or reservoirs that have them. I have caught an 8 lb wiper with a night crawler. That was a fight!!!! I have caught one striper and one yellow bass and rock bass in my travels in the lower 48 for striped fishes. They were all aggressive fishes!!
