Hey, I just applied for this credit card, and the application got rejected at the submit step. I have been living in Germany since March 22 and have a handsome salary far higher than the average salary in Germany. I am wondering how this algorithm is working, I selected India as my nationality. Any idea?

I think they have limited their acceptance rate. At least with sub continental applicants. Maybe you can look into : ahsanfinance.com/TFBank

Do you know if you can get the bank Norwegian card if you dont have EU passport? My card application got accepted but the digital video identification process doesn't give me the option of selecting Pakistani passport as an identification document...

Seems that they have changed their verification partner. If you do not see your passport option then unfortunately you cannot get this credit card.

Hi Ahsan, need some urgent help. I need to make an outstanding payment to the Norwegian Bank but I need to transfer it via my Hausbank. In this case, what Verwendungsweck should I give during the transfer. The automatic deduction isn't working as I changed my device and their customer care is closed today. The only option left is to do a bank transfer to them. I am stuck with only the Reference number to add during the transfer.

I recommend that you wait till tomorrow. I am assuming tomorrow is the payment deadline for you? Even if you send the money today it will not reach them today due to the bank holiday. So contacting the customer service would be the better thing to do.

Most likely. I have read reviews online from people of non-EU countries reporting the same issue. I am from Chile and I just had the same problem. So it is a racist bank it seems

Owning and using a credit card responsibly has a positive effect on the SCHUFA score over time.

Its a crap card, Advanzia free card is better, 50€ for free, and no fees whatsoever. Acceptance rate is higher. But still the best cards are Barclays Visa and Hanseatic cards, withdrawal is also free and no interest is charged for cash withdrawals unlike other credit cards.

Advanzia is the best when it comes to Acceptance rate. Unfortunately Barclays and Hanseatic are quite problematic (extremely high rejection rate) with Expats and Students
