As long as working employees do not fully support the retirees cause, the Govt.will not be udge an inch. Since the amount of pension fund is too big, the Govt s intentions are not clear. Otherwise what is the hindrance comes in between, when the pension updation expenses will not affect the Govt. Budget in any way. It will be a curse to eat the hard earned fund of the old people. It is better to decide in favour of the Bank Pensioners to garner the votes of 7-8 lac Bank pensioners and their relatives in the coming elections and to get the blessings of the seniors. There is a huge voice in the air that the Senior citizens are being given so many benefits, but the Seniors of Bank are being given a step motherly treatment. We all should pray before Almighty to grant wisdom to the concerned authorities to decide in the favour of the Bank Pensioners.

Decent explanation.Actually pension updation has been done already in March2019 with the RBI as per court decision . But unfortunately Bank has not paid the updated pension to nationalised bank retirees as per RBI pattern. In 1993 as par MOU ,it has clearly written that Pension would be given as per RBI pattern . When RBI pensioners are getting updated pension as per court order , updated pension was also have to be given to nationalised bank retirees exactly on the RBI pattern. But due to weak and bad hearted leaders , Banks has not paid the updated pension till.. God may help .

After completion of 38 to 40 years service it is difficult for us to get updation in pension that too with our contributions. But politicians without putting any effort automatically getting monthly salary, extra facilities a lot. For every tenure they are getting pension. If two times selected means two pensions. They aren't govt.employees. still they are getting hikes in proper times. Everything free. We aren't asking the money which is not related to us like others. What we have contributed with that we are asking a meager amount. Pensioners have to pay all taxes gst,cst. But to give us pension updation the government is not ready. Shame on the part

Why we r talking abt pen. Fund just stick to 35(1). And 1993 settlement. No talk of pen fund. This will weaken our case. Funds avaibility is non of our business. DONOT STICK TO PEN FUND IBA CAN SAY WE ARE GOING TO INITIATE UNIFIED PEN SCHEME IN BANKS. STICK ONLY TO PEN ON RBI LINES.

We,retirees have commuted our pension at retirement which is repayable at 1/3of basic pension for 15years (180). Months. Our commuted amount is repaid within 9to10years. For the next 5year's or more,we are just filling Govt coffers without any benefit for contributing retirees. Recently Punjab and Haryana High courts and Central Tax tribunal have ruled against such exploitation by banks. pMO and MOF,DFS should look into the matter immediately and arrange to provide relief to the pensionsers who are awaiting their final call ( most of them crossed 80years ,sick and vulnerable). .PMO are you listening.? MOF are you.devising plans as to how to deny refund to retirees from Bank!?Show some generosity....
