I was denied in 2009 even though I was having some money sitting on my savings account. Had to use my salary account in 2013. The same thing happened to my. My bank needed my authorisation to clear my statement with British high commission. They charged like 5k then. Was invited to the embassy for interview before getting the visa. Lovely video. Just fill in a new DS-160 form and take the confirmation printout of both old and newly filled DS-160 when you go for biometric and interview.

​@@MajorityOdion-sc4zoyou are basically digging your own grave.... it is not easy to pull that off without your own money... A day before tou print your account..even though you let ppl pass their money through your account to make it seem active... you must maintain a balance of twice the cost of your trip befor you print...and even after printing... you shuld leave the money there for some time... bt if you take all out.. you hav a problem...they will check .. Best alternative..don't let that person drop you the 4mil...instead let him give you 1mil..break it into 4 parts and deposit..then let that person print his statement to support your own...as you also print your final statement with the 1mil.. Then write a letter as sponsor from the person helping you finance the trip..

She's a US citizen, and I am a Nigerian and we've been talking to each other for more than two years now, I could have loved to have her come out here first but she has a medical issue and her doctor says she can't board, so we're stuck and don't know what to do to avoid denial... @@ademolababatola5428 your visa wasn’t denied because you used a microfinance bank, but some other reason. Check the transcript for your visa interview or the refusal notice. I have actually used my account with a microfinance bank to renew visas from different countries but then I advise people especially a first time traveler to stick with commercial banks
