and with very little other input from me this is what came out.

Holy crap! We’re probably doomed😂 I have been through phases wanting different stuff added to my Bankmanager (gen 1) like NMEA2k, bluetooth, color screen, and whatever. I have decided, however, that the best route for me is just let the BM do it’s thing without me trying to (mess it up)make it better. It just works, right out of the box. Good job Clark. Hey Clark, I, like you (close in age) have a background in programming and built a few internet businesses over the years. I have been doing a deep dive into AI advancements for the past year plus and I can tell you that while NotebookLM is somewhat unique, there are some real mind blowers in the coding side already available. While I am sure some of your listener base will get a kick out of it, I better not see you getting lazy and adding a bunch of these! :) I appreciate you're trying to promote your Bank Manager, but a leading edge programmer like yourself should be looking at expanding the software offering for cruisers. I am sure you can come up with a few apps that would be very beneficial to a fulltime cruiser. Now you don't really need to code, you can AI prompt most of it. Anyway, I know it was kind of a tough year but glad to see you doing great and I want to wish you a Merry Christmas and and a great 2025! Cheers.

Use the Bluetooth and other app to send each unit's daily data to a subscriber backed AI. Put GPS function in your units. That would allow the AI to monitor each unit's weather forecast and send warning, notes and suggestions to each subscriber on how to best prepare for upcoming weather events. With battery bank monitoring by AI, it might be able to identify problems throughout the product inventory and then perhaps be addressed. Lastly, based on ongoing data collection, the AI would be able to notify each subscriber of the likely date they will need to replace a battery, and/or the entire battery bank.

@@davidburnham5411 Clark just needs a subscriber based company with the correct AI access, and maybe an employee or two to manage it. Or however it needs to be done. But here is a big question. Does he get a 10, 20, 30, 40 or 50 year contract with an AI provider? When will this tech become obsolete? But Clark knows more on this than most. That would be his call. I do not think he has the money to build and operate his own AI though. But who knows.

Interesting, did the AI choose the images or did you do that? If you can go in and change the inaccuracies you talked about it would make a great marketing piece. The male and female voices sounded good and I actually enjoyed the presentation. Keep the good stuff coming.

I agree. It's first offering was 25 minutes long. Once you get something they basically just talk to it saying what you want it to leave out or concentrate on. And every run you do has very different content

Interesting how the AI gave the female voice vocal fry. In general I don't trust answers from AI. Google is AI to answer questions when asked. When I asked what the shielding gas produce by a 6010 welding rod. Last week it said that it was Hydrogen. Now it says that it's CO2 and H2. I'm trying figure out why 6010 takes a higher arc voltage to keep going than a 7018 rod.

Not bad..... The voices it chose and the way they are talking..... reminds me too much of some of the broadcast "talent" I have worked with. Great mellow voices with even levels at all times but mostly they had to read (and this whole thing sound like it was read) because they had not a clue what they were talking about. So ok , gets the idea across but sounds really tightly scripted. Not a natural conversation. Still, real people could do worse.
