I was wondering how your truck was doing after your initial install. I appreciate the follow-up review. I too am really worried about the bolt/pieces of the plate wrecking my engine so I am thinking of doing this as well. My truck is totally stock with 70K miles, but I will do this very soon. Performance wise, you said that you didn't notice any difference. Did you notice any gains in mile per gallon?

It’s def worth the peace of mind. I didn’t notice any power or MPG gains, only a throatier sound.

I just did mine today got the grid heater option it doesn’t get too cold but did it in case. I notice a lot more air flow in my engine I’m deleted at 63k my boost went up like 6lbs after you do notice the air flow

Did you delete the throttle valve as well or did you reuse the original unplugged?

No, i has already been deleted it electronically and did the physical part during this install.

So I have to def delete and egr delete for this or what that’s it ?

For this lot deleting is not required and doesn’t need any type of programming. It’s a plug and play system that just makes your truck much more reliable and less likely to destroy your engine.

Do you notice lower egts when towing?

No but I don’t have a gauge to monitor them and rarely tow with it anymore.

I noticed that you had a few parts left over on your work bench. Any changes in mileage or performance from those mods?

That delete had already been done for years, I just removed the physical parts during this process while I was at it. I’ve never paid attention to the mileage, all of the mods I’ve done were for longevity of the engine.
