Corey Deuel figured a way to get all of one suit to peel off the stack leaving his opponent nada. Check it out

This is an alternative straight pool break shot outlined and illustrated in Jack Koehler’s book, ‘The Science of Pocket Billiards’ published in the mid 1980’s.

People hate this stuff but I think this just goes to show how much of a genius he is

Why does the BCA and other forums keep banning what Corey does? He figures out ways to gain an advantage to win, so why don't the other players do the same? Everybody practices to get better, well that's what he's doin'. That's like telling a professional player that they shoot too good so they can't play pool anymore in ANY bracket. This is the same ridiculous stuff like you have to break from the box or jump cues cannot be used etc. Before long, they won't allow players to curve, masse, jump, kick, or bank... just shoot straight and that's all that's allowed OR ELSE! 🙄 Keep doin' what you're doin' Corey, you're an absolute genius and one of the greatest players people have ever seen! Push the haters to the sidelines and make them stay in their lane.

This guy is so creative. I think the stuff he does playing with the racks is genius.

😂🤣 absolutely ridiculous. I thought the other 8 ball pattern rack was bad but this is so blatant.

Are they for real with that rack pattern 😂 pretty much as unfair as it gets

I play in the APA and I read the rules for the 8 ball break. It seems THIS break is legal as long as four balls touch a rail OR I make a ball, which it looks like is the point... to pocket the corner ball in the rack in the corner. Gonna try it out... just to fuck around. I hate the APA anyway... everyone cheats and they do nothing about it at ANY level except the national level (Vegas tournaments).

soft break should be rerack and do real attempt to break
@procrastinator6902Ай бұрын
You didn't read them all the way thru. They also specify that you must strike the head ball or a ball on the second row. You are also required to break as hard as you can control and that merely hitting the correct ball and 4 balls contacting a rail doesn't guarantee that the break won't be ruled illegal.

Absolutely a good Idea but the rack will create problems both for him and the opponent
@XSkillsx88 Жыл бұрын
As you can see he has a shot, and only the 8 is in the pack. It was also a patterned rack.

Will create problem for you not for him, that’s why they banned it😂😂

Why would you leave the 8 ball burried in the stack. This is only optimal if you can't seem to make a ball on the break. Anyway you cannon the stack you'll potentially leave the 8 in a bad position or tie up one of your balls. I think they had 14/17 break and runs in the final in Finnish championships on a 9 footer. And he is close to the level of those players if not on par. Here he is not winning with such a percentage. Seems like a bad strategy unless on this table somehow the break and run percentage has been lower than 40% for him.
