In the 70s, my wife's favorite May wine was pulled and banned because it contained woodruff, which contained Coucarin, an ingredient toxic to rats and mice. I have sassafras trees on my property and have made many a cup of tea with the roots.

The FDA lets things that should not be consumed pass and good things they'll stop it. Sassafras tea is the best hot drink in the wintertime. I used to dig the root of the tree, clean it, boil it, and drink it with sugar. It was a beautiful, clear red color.

You have been able to buy Absinthe in the USA since 2007. I've bought it myself here in Wisconsin, perfectly legal.

In the States, you have to market to "the lowest common denominator" - if there is some idiot that can hurt themself you have to ban it.

It tastes a lot like pâté. Not surprising, since it's organ meat

I have been collecting Kinder Suprise toys in Canada since the early90’s, have over 5,000 toys and have traded with people all over the world. I even sell complete sets or the unassembled individual toys.

kinder surprise eggs. Shocking European death tally There are no recorded deaths due to kinder surprise eggs, but one child in the UK in 2000 and one in France in 2016 both chocked on the toy. They had to have opened the egg to get to the toy Both tragedies for the families involved. All small objects pose a chocking hazard, including a toy that is put in a separate half of an egg

I lived in Canada for several years & an Easter didn't go by that I didn't have at least one Kinder Egg. And a Rabbie Burns Day didn't go by without a real traditional haggis.

I would legalize equine meat. We can raise them on ranches and donkey doesn't take much care at all. We can't even get goat meat!! Or Sheep meat- (muttin) and where are the fish farms?? Keep that price down!!
