honestly i am not suprised that you say the slide feels light and cheap. The only one to perfect a 22 handgun so far aside from in revolvers....... is the ruger models of 22 LR handguns. THey dont use a slide there isnt enough recoil to make that a feasable option so it seems glock tried to keep the same platform here without that consideration more than "just make the slight lighter"

Good points made. I think if Glock made a pistol that didn’t look like a Glock or operated like a Glock, their base wouldn’t have gone for it.

@@GalacticForceMedia probably. but i think they do have a patent on that polygonal rifling. wonder if they could copy a ruger pistol but those ruger pistols are already super accurate.. and i think polygonal rifling is super bad for nonj jacketed lead..

I bought one cause of the ammo , a couple years ago. I have not had any issues. And the wife likes shooting it. 🤷 I am not a Glock guy either it is the only one I,own.

Well, the stupid thing glock did was make the 44 a browning action instead of straight blow back like the taurus tx-22 and sig p322. So it looks like you gotta use the super hot stuff for the 44, even then it's shotty at best if it will work. 😅

22/40 is still the king. ruger figured it out decades ago. might look like a paintball gun but its accurate and reliable.

some know them as the ruger mark 3 or mark 4. its the best and most accurate and frankly fun and functional 22lr handgun. if it fails its a cartridge issue.
