As a full blood Native American, with a Doctorate in Native American history and studies, the idea of Skinwalkers is just not true and has become quite offensive to many Native Tribes, Skinwalkers were a Southwestern tribal legend, Navajo, Ute, Hopi, Taos Pueblo, Mohave' Tohono Oʼodham , and other southwestern tribes had traditional legends of the Skinwalker.. they are specifically trained, over extended periods of time, which is why the are often associated with someone elderly and made many sacrifices to become a Skinwalker such as killing and eating someone of your immediate family being just one horrific ritual they partake in.,.. many of us other tribes had Shapeshifter legends and many times they were NOT even nefarious and/or evil,.. is it not enough the Wampanoag, Mohican, and Algonquin tribes have legends of the Pagwadjinini, Memegwesi, Mishiginebig and the Widjigos without throwing Southwestern Desert Tribal legends of the big bad Skinwalkers in the mix?... suddenly people have Skinwalker Witches running all over the country? even when most tribes outside the Southwest have NO legends or lore of Skinwalkers, but, somehow, it's been poached and embezzled from the Southwestern Tribes and just made ridiculous, and this from a tribal people who don't even talk about the yee naaldlooshii for fear of speaking of them, when they are NOT even very common on their own Reservations. I do love your content, but I just think knowledge is power Josh. ummmm those are for bee's someone taps honey there.

Josh, you have definitely grown on me. I really appreciate all the great content you consistently put out. From exploring to haunted and the unknown. Question, with the amount of money you spend on camera gear , computers, lenses etc why haven’t you invested in a thermal scope and a real night vision like a PVS-14 . You can get a white phosphor , film less for $3-3500. You can also get the night vision built into a thermal or vise versa . Just a thought. I know it would take your channel to the next level and you would be one of the only ones with that equipment. I’m a contractor and never stop investing in tools that increase productivity and make the job easier and faster. From cabinetry festool to sanding drywall only the best and I have never regretted putting that money back into my business.

So while going through my family tree, we always knew we were what they called Swamp Yankee, meaning we have Native American blood, but we were very surprised to learn that we are related to both the Narragansett and Wampanoag tribes. In fact Chief Massasoit is one of my ancestors. I'm also related to early settlers from the Mayflower. New England history and paranormal stories have always fascinated me. I believe there are things out there we will never be able to fully explain. My ancestors believed in communing with and respecting the spirits of their ancestors. I've seen some pretty unexplainable things as I've grown up. Our search for answers and better understanding continues

at 37:40(ish) when you ask what we think is in the woods… I think it may have been a bear. The way it wasn’t afraid to be close to you guys and it would stop and move again and was pretty loud it just felt that way. It also could have been fox, fisher-cats, raccoon, owls roost on the ground, elk, moose, deer and bobcats are possible reasons for those noises. It did sound like it was on 4 legs either way. I live in Northampton, Mass and there are old State Hospital grounds there. There is a hill called Cemetery Hill that is at least 2 acres large that has hundreds of bodies of the people who passed at the hospital who had no one to claim them. They have no gravestones. Just a tiny little “memorial” at the top of the hill. I camped in those woods and the woods surrounding Northampton for three entire summers and have seen some crazy things. I saw the ghost of a lady in a white nightgown dancing in the woods laughing and crying manically. I have seen a man who had to have been suffering some sort of “retardation” (forgive the political incorrectness of the word retardation but I am at a lack for a different word), he was just kinda roaming around aimlessly lost in the woods. I have seen multiple little eyes watching me from very close to the ground right off the trail among the ferns and tufts of grass. Camping at one spot, right on Cemetery Hill at night, on multiple nights I would be trying to sleep and all the sudden there would begin to be very large knocking sounds on trees. Now it could be a deer, elk or moose banging their racks against trees as they are wont to do but in my heart of hearts I know it wasn’t. There are a ton of night noises in those woods from the animals roaming around to the sound of hundreds upon hundreds of frogs and insects. When the banging on the trees would start, it would grow almost completely silent, only hearing those noises way off in the distance. While all around me there are knocks on trees. Now, I’m not talking some small knocks. I’m talking banging on trees with what could only be very large pieces of hard wood. I know the noises of the woods like the back of my hands and this noise did not belong. The thing is, that it wasn’t coming from one direction. If it were then I wouldn’t have been alarmed because it COULD be written off as deer, elk or moose. This was coming from every possible direction. You could also hear the difference between the knocks as each had a different sound like lighter or harder knocks. And it was if those knocks were surrounding me and it felt like they were getting closer. I finished off a pint of vodka and finally fell asleep. The next afternoon I decided to go check on my tent as I would go into town or just hike around while camping and usually not go back til dark. At any rate, something told me I should go and check on my tent. When I got up to it someone or something had ripped a hole in the side of my tent. I didn’t have food or any thing in there so it’s not like they were after that. Yeah, I took down my tent and left Cemetery Hill without a doubt! There was another time when I took a friend up to the last standing abandoned State Hospital building because he had never been there. At any rate, every time I would go there I would knock on this metal door on the side of the building that leads down to tunnels that connected who knows how many acres of buildings together. I wanted a response so badly. I always camp and hike alone so I was usually alone on these adventures. So we get to the building and I go right up to the door. I gave it three raps and I kid you not (FINALLY) there was a knock back, right on the exact spot I knocked a fraction of a second after I did. Then a black mass about the size of a softball came through the door, “stood” in front of us, slid down the door and back under it into the tunnels. I am a beacon not only for spirits but really for the unexplained all together. I have seen a thousand crazy things in my life. From UFO’s to lights to huge orbs to fairies all the way to spirits. I swear to that and to all my stories. Some of my craziest stories are of my camping and hiking in Mass. There is more going on in the woods, abandoned State Hospitals, towns and homes of Mass than I have seen any where else. Most likely precisely because it is the oldest part of our “discovered” continent and so has more folklore as well as horrendous things that came of settling the Americas. I love watching you and your explorations of the abandoned all the way to your haunted stuff. Maybe one day I’ll run into to you at Hockomok or somewhere in the triangle!

I really enjoyed this video, especially the length of it as I usually get into a video and it suddenly ends... One thing I can't get behind though is having an actual human skull as part of your "props". It's a massive desicration of someone's remains and should not have been sold for financial gain. I know that cadaver and skeletons are willingly left to colleges, universities, etc. But I can't for one minute believe that the deceased person would have been happy with their remains being used in occult rituals.

I love watching Josh the best because he's always got positive energy, he's fun & he actually tries to get as much true research as possible. Thank you so much for the videos & the actual info along with them. ❤

Why doesn’t he get one of those flashlights that can literally light up a whole warehouse? That’s the perfect thing to use in the forest to see whatever is out there and catch what it is better.

While that would be really cool, remember that these places are where the potentially dangerous people like to go and do whatever evil things they do. It's a good idea to not attract attention to yourself. Sure, you might be able to capture something on camera that's clear with a bright background, but it's not worth risking your life over it.

Loving this so far, have an hour left! Thank you for all that you do…research/interviewing locals, etc❤Definitely doesn’t go unnoticed! I’m learning so much watching as I never knew about the legends/place as a whole. Can’t wait to see what 2023 brings. I really enjoy the ghost hunting and exploration videos on your channel as I haven’t heard of them or seen them prior

When you 3 went outside by the bullfrog, rewatch the footage inside from the camera. By the electrical next to the stairs up, looking through to the other room (kitchen???) Had a tall figure staying near there and briefly into the adjoining room. Then someone short, but not a child, an older woman. Go slow over it all.

@@carlsseafishing7127 basically areas where strange disapearences paranormal activity UFO activity and cryptozoology occurs. The Bennington triangle encompasses a area consisting of a four town area Bennington being the epicenter. The Blackington triangle Consists of areas of New Salem the former town of Dana Petersham and South Athol or the north side of the Quabbin reservoir. On a map this forms a triangle, much like other triangles. I believe these areas of strange happenings started to be named triangles after the Bermuda triangle was coined.
