I'm always so skeptical of dousing rods. Any little hand movement, intentional or not can influence/move the rods in the way you want them to. And the fact that it's always her doing it, she can give them the answers they want/are looking for. But everything else you guys are doing is absolutely phenomenal!

Glad I am not the only one. I just made a comment about it, but she moves at 38:07 and the rods move the direction she jerked to. I have dowsing rods, and they actually do work. But you HAVE to stay still. No movement. My rods move and I am not moving nor influencing them. You can definitely move back and forth, but at and angle they are not supposed to move around. She has them straight out. Watching Corey, or even Patti on TFIL, you don't see any of them moving and you see it at more of an angle where the tip of the rods slightly point down. Not straight out.

I think when a spirit shows up and equipments going off , you know they are there infront of you so you should take the opportunity to speak to the spirit and make use of them while they’re there, they probably disappear because you freak out and call them ‘it’ and only describe what they’re doing , they were people too and I don’t think anyone likes being called ‘it’ or ‘something’ which is probably why they get angry and ask you to leave , I love watching all your videos josh and you do an amazing job at beyond the dark but to just try get that extra step forward, you’ve got to open yourself up and speak to them asif they are quite literally standing infront of you instead of making them feel, for example, too embarrassed to come out

at 14:33 when sam hears something coming down the stairs, it almost sounds like a cat going down the stairs, you can hear light thuds in the progression a cat would walk. Earlier in the video when the owner was giving the tour she pointed out a paper with the known spirits they have encountered, one of those spirits is the shadow of a cat!

That was absolutely the BEST investigation I have EVER seen! And I have watched hundreds upon hundreds of them. When you asked for a big sign and everything started going off and the spirit in the corner pointing for you to go, that was actually terrifying! I also have very rarely heard EVP’s so clear! Josh, you are definitely one of the best ever! And you and Seth make an amazing team. I love all the work you have been doing with Sam and Colby. The two of you with the two of them seems to create some good energy for reactions from spirits. I would (almost) do anything to be able to investigate with you guys. I have had some pretty intense experiences throughout my entire life. My mom says that I have seen spirits since I was a baby and I used to talk to them constantly as I got older. I also have had unexplainable situations and cases of moving things with my mind (TK) and without trying to most of the time. One day my mom and I were sitting next to each other having a glass of wine. We both had just put our glasses down and all the sudden they levitated about 2 inches off the table for a good 10-15 seconds and then floated carefully back down to the table. Not one drop of the wine splashed on the inside side of the glass nor did it move at all during the whole thing. That is when mom told me about all the things she had seen me do telekinetically especially when angry. I would love to put that to the test and see how well I can communicate in an investigation. That would be incredible!u

All I am gonna say is I really do not like when anyone cusses so much on YT. I also will get rather frustrated for spirits too, because most of these people always ask basic questions and then they freak out, cuss, and scream at each other when the spirit will do exactly what’s asked. They usually freak out and run away and they never get the “answers” they claim that they want, and they usually say they’ll go back. It’s pretty apparent it’s a way to continue to have more content later and continue to hype it up. I really feel bad for the spirits in a lot of these videos, not just Sam and Colby’s. I understand it could truly freak you out getting a response, but when these people have as much experience “ghost hunting”, it just seems like acting because they should be very experienced and used to getting responses. At one point, I know Sam and Colby had “family friendly videos” as their ad/tag line and I honestly have not found anyone else that cusses that much on videos. I am by no means a prim n proper person, I myself cuss too. I really like Sam and Colby’s editing, how they do real research and present it very well, the amount of work and resources put in, but their reactions and the cussing do bother me and lots of other people. I’m 38, have no children, but I do would not consider what I have seen from them as family friendly and would not want people under 18 watching them.

@@AmandaPanda83 Amanda, there is another app for children made by youtube, and most kids nowadays even though it’s wrong, they swear too, I honestly don’t like them screaming and going crazy too in investigations, but it sometimes pulls people more in as it lifts the energy up, and they’re youtubers, not fully experienced investigators, and have not been trained or taught or even been lectured about the ghosting world. Sam and Colby have said themselves they’re not proper investigators or demonologists. We don’t see the whole videos behind the scenes so they could be calm in some bits and not, any information a person would get from something humans don’t feel are “normal” would react like that.

I agree. The best investigations imo are always less people. People will feed off each other and get louder and louder. Also cussing like crazy and I cuss myself. Josh and Seth are usually pretty calm when it’s just them or even with the older gentlemen. Sam and Colby are high energy, boisterous, and it can make it hard to actually hear sounds.

I used to work in care and we had a resisent who set himself on fire through drink and smoking. He had to have both his legs amputated and 24 hour care for the rest of his life. He was only about 50 when it happened so many years of his life, changed and arguably ruined. He was a bitter and nasty person because of it. Be careful when triggering trauma like that! Other than that, amazing!!!
