A scientist who has recently lost his wife, Dr. David Banner, finds himself in the heart of a catastrophic experiment. As a result, anytime Banner becomes overly angry or stressed, he transforms into the Incredible Hulk, a gigantic green monster with superhuman power and wrath. To avoid being found, Banner leads a nomadic life, moving from town to town in quest of a cure and offering assistance where he can, all the while dodging the prying eyes of journalist Jack McGee, who seeks to expose Banner and the Hulk. "Don't make me angry. You wouldn't like me when I'm angry." He is the Incredible Hulk.

Bill Bixby was excellent as David Banner during the series run. He played it perfectly, low key and tortured but likable and sympathetic. And Lou Ferrigno despite no cgi was so far the definitive version of the Hulk. They both put Mark Ruffalo and the cgi in the MCU films to shame.

What if his look-a-like got the same amount of Gamma Rays like David will turn into the Hulk looking like the same Hulk as David. Or maybe a different looking Hulk like the one episode "The First". If it goes by their looks then yes his Hulk would also be played by Lou Ferrigno. That has always been on my mind ever since I first watched it back in the day and even now as reruns.

Bill Bixby once said that he liked to play an unrepentant bad guy at least once a year so he could step away from the goody two shoes of David Banner. And the writers of The Incredible Hulk also gave him opportunities to stretch with roles like this -- and another episode "Dark Side," where Banner is exposed to a chemical that brings out his more evil inclinations. Bix was such a great actor. We lost him way too soon. I still miss him.
