A few tips for archer only challenges: Use Battanian Fian Champions, scan the battlefield for hills to place your troops on, spread your troops out to increase the area covered by arrows, and keep infantry units behind ranged units until enemies are close.

Hey buddy! Unfortunately you can’t take a castle until you’re actually a vassal of a kingdom, which requires clan tier 3, once you hit that then talk to the queen and offer your vassalage, you’ll get a high chance of a castle then since they try to even out the fiefs. Keep it up!

This is one of the strats I used in Warband. Everyone would be in the same archer crew, with the exception of companions who were mounted. A few melee guys mixed in with the archers, but not more than 10%. Just a few mixed melee units, particularly spears. Battle starts: archers moved to best high ground they can get to and remain on in time. If cavalry are coming at us, stand closer. If not, maybe stand apart. Depends on enemy charge. After that: cavalry follows me. We wait for our archers to start unloading on them, then we just sweep by them in the front of the line, causing a portion to chase us. We drag them to the right or left of our front line, within archer fire. After that: cavalry, charge. Make sure they don't get clumped up, let them charge when they're in the open, otherwise they just get themselves hurt. Once we've cleaned up most of battlefield, archers are free to charge and shoot down fleeing opponents.

To get a castle in Bannerlord you need to be a vassal of a Kingdom not a mercenary and then you will be able to participate in voting on who get a castle, most likely you will win because you dont have any.

While sieging a castle and using a bow, along the wall where the NPC archers spawn are large containers holding arrows (12:55 to the left of your character is this object) and if you interact with it you will resupply your arrows, and I believe it also refills spears. I think there is also some barricades outside the castle that spawn with this resupply, or you can literally pick up arrows NPC's have fired and use them, even taking them out of alive and dead NPC's. I am not even joking about this.

I have Onica Castle in my current play through. I was the buffer between the Western and Southern empire, and the Empress keeps trying to break down my door. I have defended from like 20 seiges at this point in that castle. I approve this spot for keeping the enemy away.

I would recommend a blacksmithing video. You can do some absurd things like making 100k plus value two handed swords at low level and making harpoons that sell for 250k+ out of wood and crappy metal. Once you have as much money as you want the high value weapons make great gifts to lords.

I know it's a year old video and a lot of people probably know this already but this is actually how you cheese through the game. Get only archers and then destroy even the most organized armies even when they have cav. Get into a fight then run when they get close. I have no idea if they've patched this tactic tho since I haven't played bannerlord in such a long time. I don't even know why this is in my recommendation but it was an entertaining watch.

You get around shields by using horse archers. Just f1 f2 and give your enemy formation a wide berth. Make sure your circle counter clockwise. Retreat your forces when your boys run out of arrows. Sturgians gave me the most trouble, but I was able to destroy an army of 600 with my 120 khans guards.

You don’t need to capture steppe bandits, just get regular Khuzait recruits (or aserai) and train them into horse archers. You need to buy them horses but it’s far easier in bulk than steppe bandits.

You need to be a proper vassal to get a fief. You can formally do that at clan lvl 3. Also, you don't want a castle, they don't make enough money. You want a town.

This is why I go crazy on battania archers they are the best archers in the game and when you upgrade to the fian champions they don't just have high level bow skill and 2 quivers but a 2 handed sword and a high 2 handed skill making them have the ability to block out the sun with arrows but will cut down the enemy like any infantryman

Hey Ambigious, wondering why there was no Rimworld uploads came recently just to see that you played the same game as me! :D Keep this in mind: Battanian second Tier archers (highborn youth) are the absolute best archers in game... Fian Cahmpions are just elven Archers! If you manage to get 100 of them in your army, you are unstoppable. You can gain them by luck in Battanian settlements or just clearin Forest Bandits hideouts with a blunt weapon for prisoners. You need the Leadership skill at i think 225 to upgrade bandits to regular troops (Forest bandit to Fian if i remember correctly) Keep up your Work, i admire your way of commenting things and the sound of your voice. To get a castle or town you must be a vassal of the faction, mercenaries cannot take part in elections for a fief after a successful siege. Vassalage is possible only at clan tier 3. You're almost on the right path to cheesing xD
