I can't even begin to tell you what a relief it is to hear the sounds of nature as your soundtrack on this/these beautiful videos of yours !! It's almost like being there yourself ! ( Especially when so many fishing videos seem to think their audience are all heavy metal lovers!! )...already looking forward to the next one!!

Glad you enjoyed it. Thankfully we've had rain roll in off the Atlantic and the rivers have had a much needed lift. Hopefully I'll be getting out again in the next week or so. And with luck we'll catch up on the river bank before too long.

Thank You, I'm glad that you enjoy the videos, I certainly enjoy making them. We've finally head some rain now and the rivers are in much better condition so looking forward to getting out again, I'll definitely have the camera with me.

It looked low and slow for sure but still fabulous trouty heaven by looks of it ! Great to see a new clip of the good kharma inducing moments and the glass looked quite 'fast' to me .Nice. Think I need to come and talk at the next BFFI. Keep up the good works and the rod bent....

Luke, your video bamboo rods on summer streams can you recall which river that was as it looks so much like the east lyn to me but the bridge isn't familiar,thanks

Hello Micheal, not the East Lyn, it was filmed up in Wales around the Wye and Severn.

when you are on the upper wye or usk you always look to be dry fly yet I am told that on a similar river the upper severn only nymphing is any good as the current is to much for dry fly , your thoughts on that would be interesting, do you use nymphs as well ?

I'll use dries and nymphs depending on conditions. I certainly would not say that the upper Severn is only good for nymphing, there is plenty of good dry fly water up there.

Thank You. The landing net is an old ABU one, don't know the model I'm afraid. it's a bit heavy but it works a treat.

Thank You Peter. We've had a decent amount of rain now, so the rivers, and streams are starting to look a bit better. That last fish was a beauty for that stream, I watched him rise for a few minutes, took a Greenwells Glory.
