When did the supply chain move out of usa? Most of what we did during 45 years was oil and fast food, in addition to services eg. reinsurance. I was a subscriber to JOC.com all of the 1990's. Prior i did fast messenger delivery (bike msngr) in NYC. It was soap operas, Cbs Tv and NY Times. Lot of magazines and fashion. The garment district had machinery? And otherwise while we had Intel and Microsoft I think they imported workers. What is our supply distribution ? Is it UPS or Roadway? We did services and commodities and lab work, with exceptions. We did publishing well. We have not built rail like China has for 60 years. The JOC used to say that our ports were empty and Milwaukee shipped cat litter. We've been using labor as a crutch and promising the cure for cancer. But just to reply, "um, which supply chain?". Bannon is a war monger. He could not find the supply chain if he had to. Oh wait. He means the Japanese monopoly collaboration sector mfgs like Mitsubishi? They make everything from light bulbs to water treatment. He thinks that that was surrendered after WWII? He considered Viet Nam also to be our supply chain? But why do our people go 18 days month on the bread lines today, if those were our supply chains? They cut skool lunches and college aid to students? Where was the Bannon supply chain that day? Short supply. When they lost all the money and Paulson asked for the 2008 bailout to float the credit bubble and for close 6 million homes, did they lose the supply chain? This is like another merger where all kinds of people lose the contract for their services except not supply chains which appear in the story, at irrelevant points.

The reason why the Chinese has not responded is because US has not yet imposed the tariffs on the next $200 billion of Chinese exports. China may even let US imposed the 10% tariffs. This would cause the inflation rate of US to go even higher leading a higher interest rate and a stronger US currency.
