Portland Head Lighthouse - Portland, Maine
Roger sets up his easel on the rocky cliff by the lighthouse and works on a small study of the scene. Sarah takes a closer look at the lighthouse and talks with the director about its history. Back in his studio, Roger creates a 24×36″ painting demonstrating how he prepares a canvas using modeling paste and shows a technique with acrylics for creating interesting rock textures.
