It was Broken at the perfect point to get some needle nose pliers in and man handle it out….. this was the last step lol. If this didn’t work I would of used a extraction toll

Not necessarily. The gear shifter just didn’t pop back into place how it’s suppose to. If it’s making noise and it’s on the clutch side, take her apart and see before more damage is caused
