It’s a paid thing to my knowledge. A lot of voice actors and even actors have been using a certain service to be paid for reading lines or something and saying in-character things to a person. If I remember right, fans paid like $5k for Dante’s VA to say something to Gura years ago, maybe Vergil’s VA too though I can’t remember for sure. Pomu’s fans did the same thing for her with Otacon’s VA and David Hayter doing his Solid Snake voice. It was even edited in the beginning to be a radio call between Otacon and Snake before it cuts to their real faces. Hell that dude that played Astarion was also hired to do one for Mira Pink (and Silvervale kinda) to which Mira after stream needed some “alone time”. She also accidentally brought the tab up on another stream of that clip. Guess who was her favorite character, that she wanted to bang, for Baldur’s Gate 3?
