Baofeng Tech UV-25X4 Overview

Looking for a radio that will fit in virtually any vehicle or can be used as a bug out radio? If so then the UV-25X4 from Baofeng Tech is a great choice. This radio is a tri-band (2m, 220MHz and 440 MHz). It is very light weight and takes up little room.

Do you have a video that is even more basic, down to the button pushing level. I have this radio and I get confused as to which buttons to push to even scroll. At times due to non response I wonder if the mike keypad is not functioning, esp the zero. ( keep in mind I am a new Tech KA5DOC , I live fairly remote and do not have someone to show me "push this button to do ...xyz ) I need 25X4 for dummies. DC

Hi Crag, I have this radio and used it for about 11 months. Our 220 repeater did not have a Pl tone on it.our club installed a new repeater and put a pl on it. Using chirp to put the new pl on the repeater freq. now there is no transmit on any repeater . Do you have any idea what is wrong. Enjoy your videos, keep up the good work and thank you. John, k8jek
